I recently purchased Aqueon Omnivore Shrimp Disc Food for my aquarium, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! My bottom feeders have taken an instant liking to it, and it’s been a game changer for their feeding routine. The pellets are perfectly sized and sink quickly, which is ideal for my shrimp and other bottom-dwelling friends. I love that the discs are formulated to provide a balanced diet, incorporating both plant and protein sources. It’s reassuring to know that I’m giving my pets the nutrients they need to thrive. Watching my shrimp eagerly munch on these discs is a joy—they dive right in and seem to enjoy every single bite. I’ve noticed that their coloration has improved since I started feeding them Aqueon, and their overall activity levels have increased, which is always a great sign. Additionally, I appreciate that the packaging is convenient and resealable, keeping the food fresh for longer. The 1.65-ounce size is perfect for my aquarium needs, and it lasts quite a while. Overall, I highly recommend Aqueon Omnivore Shrimp Disc Food to anyone with bottom feeders or shrimp. It provides excellent nutrition and is clearly a favorite among my aquatic pets. If you want happy and healthy shrimp, this is definitely a product you should try! Read more

This little disc is by far the favorite food of every occupant of my 50 gallon tank. Yo-Yo Loaches, Bettas, Rainbow Cichlid, German Blue Rams, Khuli Loaches, Chinese Algea Eater, just to name a few, go insane for these. I hide them in the substrate and plants or I float them on the top to make them literally hunt for it. I should’ve taken a video while they were first hunting them out, but I didn’t think about it until they were almost done and then I just took the picture. It’s a great treat and inexpensive. The disk is hard and stays hard when you let it sink to the bottom, but if it floats for a while on the top, you can grab it and squish it into a gazillion pieces and then all of the top feeders are in a feeding frenzy. I find this a really fun treat for the whole tank and myself as I enjoy watching them smell it out, thrash around it, stealing it from one another! When I do drop it into my shrimp tank, the little disks are so smelly that within five seconds they come out from their hiding in every direction running for it and again the shrimps take it and run from each other. It is so funny…. Give these little disks a try, you’re aquatic friends well thank you! Read more

This is the only shrimp food I use. My little guys love it. I crack half a tablet and drop it in and they know right away that it's time to eat. All of them gather around and it's so cute to watch their little legs going crazy. It seems to dissolve quickly, and with their little legs moving around, the food distributes fairly quickly. For as small as this container is, it will last me months and I have a tank with about 50 shrimp in it (at least right now). They must be healthy because they have young ones a lot! Great value! I recently purchased the Aqueon Omnivore Shrimp Disc Food 1.65 Ounces for my aquarium, and overall, I am satisfied with the product. My snails seem to love it, but unfortunately, my shrimp don't seem too interested in it. Despite this, I appreciate that the food is formulated specifically for shrimp and contains high-quality ingredients that support their health and well-being. However, after doing some research, I've come to understand that Fluval Bug Bites is a better food option for my shrimp. It contains a more diverse range of ingredients that cater to the varied dietary needs of shrimp, and it's also more palatable to them. So while I'll continue to use the Aqueon Omnivore Shrimp Disc Food for my snails, I'll be switching to Fluval Bug Bites for my shrimp going forward. Overall, I would give the Aqueon Omnivore Shrimp Disc Food a four-star rating. It's a good quality food that my snails enjoy, but unfortunately, it didn't work out as well for my shrimp Read more
