Customers find the mag pouch to be well-made and functional for tactical use, with secure magazine retention that fits perfectly on duty belts and accommodates both Magpul and steel AR mags.

Exactly what I needed for training course. High quality, works excellent. Read more
Holds mags tight. They do not fall out during foot pursuits or fights. Highly recommend. Read more
Works great for what I use it for which is run and gun type stuff here at my home range. My P-mags (which is all I own) will work in them bullets forward or backwards. Retention is adjustable. Never had a mag to fall out. Tek Lok makes it easy to put it on or take it off my blade tech competition gun belt. I would say these are meant for speed. Sure they would be great as a competition mag pouch. Read more
Very solid mag holder for metal AR magazines. It did not fit plastic Magpul, but it does fit whole slew of steel mags. However if you want to use it for 10round magazines you will probably need some helper device on magazines bottom plate (could be simply taped cord) in order to pull it without fighting. It is not deep enough to bring all the trouble for 10rd mags, but still it is not easy to get it out with your fingers. For those who use NJ legal 15rds (as of 2015) or other states legal even bigger capacity it is perfectly fine and managing mags is very easy. I am not sure why it says "for right-handed". What they probably mean is that you can use your left hand for reloads as long as you want to reach to it from left side (on your back part of belt). Anyway there could be some different techniques developed for your body/wrist motion. You could probably reconfigure it to work sideways. I'd rate it very well for competition probably. as far as other purposes I do not know. I am purely competition shooter and do not care of some other craziness or military use. Read more
I have this on my vest and have used it for a few years now. I hate tek lok and greatly prefer the gun and flower backing plate, see link. https://www.amazon.com/GUN-FLOWER-Attachment-Enforcement-Military/dp/B0995LB29X?th=1&psc=1 Once you pair these together, you have a really nice stable platform. Unboxing: Started off as a big conundrum on how to “unlock” them but intuitive once you know (first pic shows the lock at the bottom lifting up,then squeezing to lift up). Not sure why they are “righty” when the magazine fits both directions. The screw part of the holster might be in the rear for righty’s but for lefty, screws are forward. I tried the fitment on all type of the mags I own. No problem with Magpul, or coupled Magpuls, or the 20round mag or the 10 round mag that is back to back with another 10 rounder. Fit my grey Hexmags, as well as my red Duramags, and my 7.62x39 Duramags. I’m sure they will fit other brands but I don’t have and others to try. I’ll take these out to the desert soon to see if they hold up, but since they are well known brand I have little to be concerned about. Pricewise, you are probably pay for a little of name brand but they aren’t terribly priced. Retention- i used them out of the box, as is and they worked fine. Plenty of squeeze left in them if you need to hang upside down with them. Read more
