It has enough stretch to stay comfortable but still hugs in all the right places for a flattering shape. This feels so much higher quality than I was expecting. It’s thicker knit, like sweater material. (But, not too thick or hot.) I think the fit will depend a bit on your body; mine doesn’t show as much midriff as the model’s. I’ve worn it all day sightseeing in Egypt and to church for Easter Sunday— so versatile. I loved this outfit. The material was nice and stretchy but not sturdy/compression fit at all. I am 5'2" 105lbs and the XS top was small around the arm holes. The skirt was a little loose around the hips. I'm sure I could have washed and dried the skirt and it would have fit better, but as-is it did look cute as long as I didn't mind the arm hold being slightly small. I also loved that the waist band was thick on the skirt as it doesn't squeeze your hips. This is a nice outfit for the summer and it's great to wear everyday or dress up for a nice event.
