Favorite pants ever

They are expensive but worth the money. Pockets I love how the pockets have zippers, they kept out the dirt while digging in the mud. My iPhone fits perfectly in the large pocket, and the right thigh pocket is perfect for pens and 10" pliers. Durability and quick drying I bought these when I was working on trails in Alaska, and they were the only pants I brought into the field. I would go into the backcountry for 30 days at a time, and brought just one pair. Naturally, I couldn't wash them, but they dried quickly. Their stretch and durability has also been exceptional. After 3 summers in Alaska, they were then the only pair of pants I wore while working construction in Louisana. While my mother may cringe, I wore a single pair of these pants 6 days a week for a combined total of about 30 months. They eventually got a bit stretched out, so I hemmed them and took out some material in the back, to get them to fit again. I recently retired them due to an oil stain I can't get out (it's located on the butt, and my boss said I had to stop wearing them due to professionalism, it doesn't look like an "oil stain"). Edit- Upon writing this review, I've decided to give grafting some fabric off the leg onto the butt a shot, to relocate the stain to a more acceptable location, that doesn't raise so many questions Read more

This is the first time i've felt compelled to review a product, because these pants are that good. I use them working at my homestead in Alaska and also for remote and intensive field work in the Arctic. They are extremely comfortable, in that they fit and feel like real pants, as opposed to all other "outdoor" pants i've tried. They can accept a real belt, so that I can hold up my leatherman. I don't wear suspenders often, but I appreciate the fact that I could if I wanted (sidenote: these suspender loops make great places to hang them to dry when out in the field). They are TOUGH. I redid my roof earlier this year and ended up catching a lot of screws on them, and there are no holes in them, just a couple of frayed threads. I wear them around the woods, brushing and cutting trees, and they hold up great. They are quick to dry when they get wet. The pockets are well thought out, easy to access, and sturdy. The reinforced knees are an awesome addition, and make kneeling on wet ground much nicer. I can even wear these pants when running errands or grabbing a beer and not look like a total jamoke. No Ankle Cinch Strap

I love the pants. Only disappointment is that the pants do not have the adjustable ankle Velcro cinch as shown in the picture. I was looking forward to that feature especially during tick season. Read more
