The band is a soft,flexible silicone. Please, Amazon, tell merchants to not advertise "silicone, TPU" . That is a lie. Silicone is FAR superior to PU, and not the same substance at all. If one replaces the band with the quick release springbars that are included, installation is pretty easy. On my watch, a Citizen Aqualand, the included spring-bars were tiny in diameter and rattled around in the mounting holes in the watch case, so I reinstalled the originals from the existing strap. I suspect that the strap may have come loose if I'd used the originals, but it sturdy now.They are a tight fit in the Archer strap. I like the smooth matte finish of the strap, and the buckle feels quality. This strap is far more comfortable than the original undersea-Jaques-Cousteau approved band. I've worn it about a week or so now, and my only complaint is about the slightly crooked molding of the strap (on the left side in the photo, see that kinda slanted gap, and how the other side is straight) really only a cosmetic thing. The strap arrived quickly, and in a no nonsense box, which my environmentally sensitive side appreciates. many things to do with watches are in grandiose "presentation boxes". Its a watch strap, not the key to a Ferrari, so Kudos to Archer for that and the overall fit and quality...there is just that one little gap thing...also didn't some in a bright purple... Read more

I purchased the black-colored band. It's very comfortable and well made. Best band I've ever purchased. I'm 5 foot 5 inches tall, weigh 128 pounds with small wrists. This replacement band fits my wrist great. I'm using the 3rd hole, so it would fit a smaller wrist than mine without any problems. So I plan to purchase the optional black buckle when I finish my review. Read more

About a year ago, I decided to wean myself off of smartwatches for no other reason than I longed the traditional look of my older timepieces. So, I replaced the batteries on a few of them and noticed one had had a ripped band. I decided to replace the old band with the Archer band and didn’t think much about it, when i ordered it. When I received it, I was absolutely impressed! The color was exactly the way it looked in the description. I was able to install the band easily and the size was perfect! The rubber strap was also thick, and the metal clasp at the end is sturdy enough and should last a while. The new band made my old inexpensive watch look so good, my wife even mentioned how pricier it appears. The overall look is casual but at the same time, well thought out. I wear it when I want to wear jeans and a dark sweater and the orange just pops. This band is an excellent buy and I highly recommend this band from Archer. Read more

The quality of this product is fine. The fit of this product on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. I'm not really sure who these straps are intended to fit? On my 7.25-7.5" wrist, with a 40mm dive case, I am running out of adjustment. They either need to make more sizes, or add at least another inch, to 1.5" to this strap. Additionally, there are no air slots cut into the strap. It does not allow the skin to breath, this lead to wearing a hole bigger; which isn't comfortable. Read more
