These boots are so perfect for travel. They are lightweight and foldable and are perfect. I found them easy to put on and you can go all day on them and they support you beautifully. Would not recommend them for wet or snow wear. And if you need a boot for climbing where a hard sole or steel toe is recommended, these will not do. These boots are made for walkin...! Treated myself to a pair before our Williamsburg vacation - and worth every penny! I love them and they are very comfy. The store where I found them (though ordered on Amazon), said all Arcapedico's can be thrown in the washer. I hate to try - as they look great - even after wearing a week every day in tough terrain. I do agree with the others, they are a bit tight around the ankle. And, the inside has torn away from the zipper some already because of that, but I will wear these for walking - even exercise walking! The arch support does not fit the arch. It is below the arch, making the shoe uncomfortable, it was like a defect in the shoe…so I am returning it. Buyer beware, when I receive the mailing label it was not free, I have to pay for the return. What kind of company does this..it was a third party with amazon but on the shoe site it clearly stated return free.. Amazon is now working on the problem. Read more
