This sleeve is very easy to put on. You can just leave the velcro in place, place your arm in and slip it over your head. It gets nice and cold in the freezer, but never stiff as it is a gel, so it stays flexible. I read another review complaining that it only stayed cold for 15 minutes. Well, that is the recommended time to ice - so this wrap fits the bill. I am so very happy with it. I've had others that were hard to keep in place or were difficult to mold to the arm and shoulder. I've never had to wear a brace before, but I have an injury in my upper arm that just wouldn’t heal. All my symptoms pointed to a classic rotator cuff injury. I don’t have insurance, so I decided a brace was my only option. I looked at several but this one caught my attention since it has a gel interior that can be frozen (while still being flexible enough to wear comfortably) or heated. It’s comfortable enough to wear around the house while I’m working from home or doing light housework, and I wear it while sleeping. Before I got this brace, I would wake up in the morning and hardly be able to move my arm from the pain I felt. Now when I wake up, I have no pain at all. I know it will take time for this injury to heal, but before I was afraid it wouldn’t heal properly. Now I can tell every day it’s getting better. It’s easy to put on, easy to adjust for proper placement and perfect fit, it’s well made, sturdy, and the covering is so soft, I do forget sometimes that I am wearing it. But it provides great support and gently keeps me from moving my arm the wrong way so I don’t re-injure it. I would recommend this brace to anyone with a shoulder or upper arm injury. I use it for icing up my shoulder after daily stretches for my Frozen shoulder. The does a great job but I wish it would stay cold a little bit longer. Read more
