Excellent product. I don't miss my overpriced, unrefillable stick lighter that had no flame-adjusting button (like in the old days when the stick lighters first came on the market). Why is there no flame adjusted on these stick lighters- to burn fuel faster and buy a new one for an arm and a leg- NOT THIS ONE! This one is gorgeous and comfortable to handle, charges quickly, and ignites easily. Safe to handle- provided you're a reasonable able minded adult. I am never going back to the fuel lighters. First time buyer of a rechargeable lighter. This one was reasonably priced so I thought I would try it out. I’ve had this product for over a month now and actually haven’t had to charge it much- so the battery lasts a while. I use it for daily candle lighting though. The lighter does make a humming noise that can be annoying, but it does its job and you don’t have to worry about the flame blowing out. It does have safety features that will turn off the flame automatically after a few seconds and a locking button at the bottom which I appreciate. Overall a great product for its price. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this on a lightning deal. It was cheap and I figured if it didn’t work as advertised I wouldn’t be out much. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve only charged it once and it has operated flawlessly for months. Much easier to use on candles than matches. Read more

This thing is cool<anti-pun>! Just got to get used to how to use it. The battery dies pretty fast, but recharges quickly. (if that's a problem, I suggest having several on hand.) But the longer it takes to light something, the quicker the batteries die, so it's best not to try to light something too inappropriate (ie: dry paper/leaves=good, stick/log=bad, dry tissue/grass=wonderful! wet-anything=foGhetabowtit! [well, unless it's wet with alcohol or <yikes!>gasoline! ]). Now if you only light things that ignite easily, it kinda 'springs back' and you won't have to recharge it as often. But it has a good battery-level indicator, which I use a LOT! In other words, if you just need it to light candles, this is great! If you (like I) need it for lighting fireplaces, also have paper AND small kindling on hand. ***BUT*** if you need it for camping... or as a survival-tool... you ~might~ want to also take along some flint! (And/or a solar charger. That's what I do, and that works awesomely! Solar chargers won't charge 'everything', but mine likes to charge these. But that being said, a weak(and/or old) USB charger won't work... so the charging current must be respectable. But the level indicator doubles as a charging indicator, so when it's charging, one of the (four) blue lights comes on. It goes off when it's charging is complete. So that's pretty clever and quite handy. But DO NOT LET IT GET WET!!! At least not inside it's casing. I once did, accidentally leaving it outside, then it of course, rained!) But I soon-after tried to dry it with towels and a blow-dryer... that didn't work. Wouldn't light... wouldn't charge. I thought about trying to take it apart... (like I need something else to do... considering my infinite 'project list'!!!) but I never did. ~YET~ I tried charging it about a month later... and wt?!? It charged-up, and has been working fine ever since! Sooo... if you make my mistake, don't throw it away prematurely. Of course, 'rain water' isn't nearly as catastrophic as dropping it into some wine, or salt/sea-water! So your results may vary. But yeah! These are pretty cool. I plan on buying more just to have them around. I try to also have lighters around as well, but I now buy less butane! Besides... at my age... (not that you young-uns would understand) ~really~ needing something is the BEST way to insure it will NOT be close-at-hand! So more the merrier. And their nice long length makes it easier and safer to start a fire! Read more

i love this gadget! Easy and safe to use for lighting candles. Also has a safe shut off so children can’t easily fool with it. No need for butane, just recharge it when needed. Read more

Good quality, battery life is okay. Not very durable, it dented after I dropped it once. Makes a high pitched noise. Read more

I like this lighter. I liked how the prongs are out in front with no covering. That feature makes lighting the cannabis in my pipe easier. I do wish the sliding button for protection could stay open and have a hidden button to activate like a different lighter had. I have arthritis and it takes a bit of force to open for me. I put a some grip tape near the switch to help facilitate activating the lighter. I also wish the other colors had costed the same as the black one. Read more
