I love this belt! It’s so pretty and made well. The weight of the belt is a reflection of the quality material. The turquoise doesn’t look like cheap plastic. I am a size 8 and ordered the Medium. Like most other reviews, I would suggest ordering a size larger if you’d like less spacing between the chain and the conch. I have worn the belt a few times and it hasn’t lost its silver luster. This belt is quality and so pretty! I sized up for a looser fit around my hips to wear with dresses, but it is adjustable enough to fit in my beltloops at my waist as well. Worth the money! Read more
I wanted a belt that would hang down on my hips. I am overjoyed with this belt! As others mentioned, it is substantial and weighty (not heavy), and definitely not skimpy. It looks and feels like a quality piece. Others mentioned that it runs large. After hemming and hawing though, I decided to go for the XL instead of the M I was originally going to get. I'm glad I did. I'm 5'6" and 150lbs. I generally wear medium in clothes and an 8-10 in pants. After looking at the customer pics I decided that I was going to shorten the chain between the large conchos and the small one. I'm glad I did that. The XL drapes beautifully. I shortened the chain between the large and small conchos ,so now when I wear it I have 2 large and the small concho hanging off the end. I was a little worried that it would slide a lot or make my curves more noticeable, but it hasn't. It is very flattering and easy to wear even when chasing a class of 14 Preschoolers. This really is worth the price! Read more
A very high fashion belt, western styling in silver and faux blue turquoise cabochon style stones. It has a substantial weight to it. Well made. Read more
I actually a total of 3 of these because I was unsure about the size. I ended up keeping the large and returned the X and MED. The thing is Amazon makes it so crazy easy to return stuff! Free shipping 2 days and free returns. The belts are of fine quality, silver and tourquise and very adjustable. Change an entire outfit look. I love mine and wear it with dresses, pants, jeans, and skirts loose around the waist and hips. I had one like it in the 70's. Heavy and solid. You really should have one, it is worth the $40.00. I should have paid more attention to size, I am not big but it does not fit me. I will use as a necklace. Read more
Ariat nailed this one. I'm 5 feet, size 20. I can wear the extra large on my hips or tighten it up and wear it higher to lengthen my bottom half. It spices up a little black dress perfectly or adds some sass to jeans. It's heavy. It's sturdy. I don't feel like it's going to bust if I move the wrong way or put it on a little too tightly. This is now a great statement piece in my wardrobe! Read more
This belt is heavy in that it’s quality. I absolutely love it. I did go a size up because the size chart made me think it was going to be snug. I ended up having to take some of the excess chain off to make it look right. I wear a size 10 pants most of the time. 32” waist if I don’t eat a lot of tacos. The large or medium would have been fine. That being said I do love the couple of large conchos hanging down. Super pleased with this purchase. Read more
