The sling the hospital sent me home with after surgery is flimsy and my arm was sliding out. I'm about 5'7" and based on reviews got a Large. It's a bit big but I'm thankful because it covers my whole arm up to my fingers. Much more comfortable than the other sling. Really like the pockets and the thumb secures my hand to keep my arm in place and not sliding out. Have to wear a sling for 4-6 weeks so needs to be comfortable and supportive. This sling worked out fine. It’s easy to put on, especially with a broken Humerus/shoulder. It has a pocket for your phone, and the velcro is padded so it does not rub skin. The price is reasonable. Read more

I have tendonitis and the sling I had was probably 40 years old lol. It was not supportive and very uncomfortable. This one is very comfortable the straps are padded and it holds my arm securely. I got the medium and it fits me perfectly Read more
I fell on my right shoulder in 2006, which was mildly painful over the years, but manageable. I had an old sling I used when I first fell, and it was good enough. I've since developed Osteoarthritis in that shoulder, and the other day, had a huge flareup that was really painful and felt like it was spasming. I knew the only way to help it heal was with a sling. My old one just didn't do the trick, so I looked for a better one, and this sling is DEFINITELY the one! I ordered a Small size - I'm 5' 2", 103 lbs. - and it fit perfectly! The sling stays up on my elbow, the old one kept slipping off. It has a nice wide strap that goes over my left shoulder, with a removable cushioning strap for the shoulder and attaches to the arm part of the sling with a nice big snap in buckle - easy on, easy off by myself. The length of the strap is adjustable for the perfect fit. My old sling had an adjustment thing that rested right in the middle of my back - OUCH! Comfortable and able to apply without assistance. I just had multiple tendons repaired in my left shoulder, rotator cuff repair and another tendon re-attached. This sling is fully adjustable and I am able to reapply the sling by myself. The only issue I had was i measure 13 inches from the base of my fingers to the elbow...farthest edge. I ordered the medium but it felt too small, not comfortable, went ahead and ordered the large and it fits perfectly. It also keeps the additional neck padding in place so I don't have to keep re-adjusting it. This seller and Amazon are absolutely excellent to work with. My large sling was delivered promptly and my return is seamless...no issues returning the medium. Would highly recommend this sling. Read more
