It's a classic, what can I say? I first experienced Acqua di Gio almost 15 years ago. That first bottle lasted me deep into the 20teens. From then on I was buying discounted and to be honest, in retrospect I'm not sure if I had authentic Acqua di Gio since that first bottle. This, however, is the real deal. If you haven't experienced Acqua di Gio before, it's a very clean and woodsy smell. Imagine "fresh rain storm in Aspen" type smell. Underneath that clean water and woodsy smell are pleasant cirtus and floral undertones. AdG is my go-to cologne and shines for all occasions. This men’s cologne I bought for my husband. It is the ONLY cologne he will ever use. Fortunately, I do love the smell. It lasts a good bit of time. It goes on pretty potent and strong but softens over time. When he first sprays it on the cologne is very strong but within an hour it has softened and just barely noticeable. Read more
