Perfect for parking lots,skate parks and flat smooth dirt.Not so good in the grass.Well worth the money.I have a fleet of RC cars and this one is in my top 5.This UDR Grom flies on 3s and stays manageable. The media could not be loaded. Don’t even mess around with those $100 questionable RC‘s. Just get this and be done.The Mojave Grom is a perfect RC for beginners and experts alike. It has all the features that an expert would want as well as a stability control system that will help out beginners… especially on the track. This is the brushless version that can take a 2S or 3S battery, metal oil shocks, metal drivetrain, clip-less body attachment, and a transmitter with a few good options like 50%, 75%, and 100% speed and off-low-med-high stability control system. Unless you’re doing speed runs, there’s really no point in using a 3S battery because a 2S battery set on 100% is pretty ridiculous as it is. I have a small track in my backyard perfect for the scale and even a 2s on 75% I cannot go full throttle anywhere on the track. It does have a couple minor flaws though… Like the clip-less body system. It seems to get hung up and the buttons don’t release when you want them to. It retracts on a mini leaf spring and the spring binds here and there and doesn’t release the button. Another thing that may or may not be an issue is the pinion and spur gear mesh seems a little sloppy and loud… Although there are really no reports of them failing so I don’t want to open it up and check it out just yet. Absolutely five stars overall and if you have batteries and chargers already, you can buy this version and save $60… Just snip and replace the spectrum battery connector on the ESC to your favorite battery connector and you’re good to go.
