These panels look great once they’re installed, but it’s important to set expectations before ordering. The coverage sounds generous on paper, yet 22.38 square feet is essentially the equivalent of a very small box-shaped room, just under five feet per wall. If your goal is to cover an entire room, you’ll need multiple kits, and the cost escalates quickly. Where these panels really shine is as a single accent wall or a defined feature area. The finish is clean, the beadboard style adds attractive character, and installation is very approachable for a DIY project. That said, at just shy of a Benjamin per kit, this is expensive paneling for the amount of coverage you get. The price-to-coverage ratio is hard to ignore, and once you do the math, larger projects can lead to serious sticker shock. Great for statement walls, less appealing for full-room coverage unless budget is no concern. Read more

Got this to use in my small bathroom remodel and I absolutely LOVE them. They are so easy to put up. I have wall tiles, ceiling tiles, and a different type of wall planks all by Art3d and I have absolutely been so satisfied with every piece of it. Everything is quality and looks beautiful. I'm remodeling my 1992 fifth wheel and most of it is Art3d products. Although it's older, it was top of the line when built and the only damage was from a leaking toilet. Which is why we totally ripped out the bathroom and rebuilt from putting in new floor supports up. I'm full time stationary parked on family owned land so my goal is to make it NOT look like a trailer but a home. This is part of that. The bathroom is purple, black , grey with sage green. The grey wainscotting looks nice with the grey floor planks and the Amethyst walls and sage trim. This is a breeze to install. I admit I have not glued up a single piece of any of the planks or tiles. I've put it all up with brad nails and my cordless stapler gun. Fast and easy. I'll upload pictures as soon as my son-in-law helps me finish putting up the trim. Great value and a great product. You will love it. It really changed the look of a room in a good way. Read more

I had thought to use this to cover a damaged cabinet end, but with the product in hand I decided it looked a little too industrial Q-Deck for the country kitchen. Looking at them, I realized that, since they are polystyrene and will not rot, they would be excellent porch skirting. SO, I'm just waiting for the glacier to melt and I will finally have something to cover the big gaping hole at the front of my porch. The styrene is super solid and rigid, the finish is smooth but has enough 'bite' that I'm sure paint will adhere well. They cut and fit as easily as wood and will undoubtedly last longer in the damp area. I'm really happy with all the Art3D products I have tried and these are no exception Read more

I’ve gotten these before for a faux wall for my tv and added wall sconces on each side just by applying it to plywood and hanging it on the wall concealing the cords and giving it that extra OOMF it needed. I always have people look it over talking about how nice it is not to mention inexpensive, sexy and chic. So now that I’ve found them in white I’m going to utilize them the same way but for a portable rolling electric partition/supply cabinet for my oldest child to use on the side of the “beauty station” vanity with remote concealed color changing lights on the top and bottom the panels on the entire front and sides and a full length mirror on the other-side she can press and unlatch opening as a door to place cotton balls, nail polish, jewelry etc on clear plexiglass shelves with lighting flipping on when open. On the panels some extra clear fluorescent plexiglass shelving/gold brackets with LED’s behind illuminating them with the wiring being easily concealed behind the paneling. This paneling being white with the lighting will look like whatever color she sets it to or even look as though it’s changing colors itself from when I tested it. So yeah lots of multiple uses for this paneling saving a buck on paint and getting a classy expensive look for very little, you’d be crazy not to buy. Read more

These are much easier to handle than real wood panels and cutting them to size is manageable with basic tools. Once painted they really do give that wainscoting look and add dimension to a flat wall. They are best for decorative areas where they won’t get bumped a lot since they are polystyrene, but for visual impact they completely change the space without a full renovation. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These panels are solid and look more expensive than they are. They’re durable, waterproof, and have a smooth finish. Installation was super easy—measure, glue, line them up, done. They are tongue in groove, and they fit together very easily. I also love that you can paint them any color to match your style. The kit instantly upgrades a plain wall. Clean, classic look with minimal effort. I can't say how it would take paint, because I wanted them to be white and I chose the white, so they are already perfect the way they are. I left them the height that they came in to minimize cutting, and I just had to slice a few pieces with a rotary saw lengthwise. Where there were small gaps between the end of the wainscoting and the end of the wall, I painted a high gloss white (still needs another coat) and used silicone caulking to seal any seams. It looks flawless. I had just enough to cover this very small bathroom, with one length left over. The top molding pieces glue on with liquid nails easily. I am so happy with these. Still doing finishing touches on this bathroom remodel, but this really brightened it up and I'm getting compliments.
