First order your normal size. I read several reviews to order up. That’s not necessary unless you wear very thick clothing underneath. I usually wear a Large comfortably so I ordered an XL. It’s too big but I love that it comes to my ankles so I kept it as I’m a few inches above avg height. I can I also overlap the front more than needed so no drafting of cold air. The weight and softness are perfection. It is similar to an average fleece throw blanket. Quality is above the price point and the hood is an added bonus. Overall love this robe! Read more

This is the most comfortable robe I have ever owned. The length almost touches the floor, and that is impressive because I am 5 ft 10 in tall. The super soft thickness is perfect to keep me warm during the winter. My only complaint is that I wish the neck of the hood were a little longer, and the hood a little bit deeper. When I pull the hood up over my head, it only reaches to about my hairline, and it pulls down uncomfortably tight on the top of my head if I move my arms around. If the neck were longer, and the hood were deeper, I think that problem could be solved. Most of the time I just wear it around without wearing the hood. I also wish the sleeves were just a few inches longer for my arm length. However, I like it so much that I ended up purchasing several others in different colors.
