I own many knives and this one came as a surprise. Like I’m literally taking 20 minutes out of my day to take some really good pictures and write this review so more people will buy and enjoy this beautiful behemoth. For starters, this is a big knife, probably not an EDC for everyone, but for me it will be because I love big knives and my hands are big. Just know, If you whip this bad boy out in public, it’s gonna raise some eyebrows. Craftsmanship is on point! Very sturdy and well put together. It has a really nice heavy weight to it. The ball bearing is super smooth when opening and closing it. When you flip it open quickly, the click is so satisfying. The blade is thick, sturdy, and sharp. I already cut myself…😅 Anyhow, This is going to be perfect for work. Would I buy it again? Yes…10 of them if I could. This is a seriously beefy knife at around 10 Oz, so make sure that you will be comfortable carrying that much weight in your pocket. If you are looking to carry a knife as a tool, this is a great knife. It could be used for batoning firewood, particularly if you use the included locking pin. The action is smooth and easy to open and close. It does not have an assisted open, so if you live in a state where assisted knives are a problem, this is a good fit. Read more

This knife is beautiful. And the weight and chunkiness of it really nice. This is my first knife of this brand and I love it. My one nitpick or even full on complaint, is that the grip is plastic. But even some of the best brands make many of their knives this way and I have some of them. Great knife! Read more

The liner lock up is strong and early, which is a sign of good machining. The blade is sharp enough but it could be sharper. Its not a big deal. I love how robust the design is and the extra locking pin that it comes with. I wish they would make more variations of the sub size instead of just all black. They used to have copper scaled versions, burlap micarta, red canvas micarta, etc. Read more

Cons: definitely not a light knife despite the relatively modest closed and blade lengths (under 3 in or 77mm). The proprietary, shallow screws can be a bit of a pain but various sized flathead screwdrivers will handle it. Pros: excellent sturdy blade with a surprisingly thin tip for delicate work. Knife excels at strong pushcuts and tip piercing or tabletop utility work. Handle is both neutral enough and thick enough to allow a good grip. While my example had a decently strong linerlock I think an alternative lock might be ideal for both safety and ambidexterity concerns. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Yes It’s big and it’s a little heavy, but it still fits in your pocket surprisingly comfortable to carry. The retention on the clip is solid despite its size. It does take up a lot of room in your pocket, but it is so much fun It is worth it. I wouldn’t want to go jogging with this in shorts but just for normal every day stuff it doesn’t bother me at all, and I’m not a big guy, you get used to it quick. It arrived pretty sharp, not super razor shaving sharp, but plenty sharp enough. The tip is almost needle sharp. Mine locks up really nice and tight right in the middle. No blade play at all. Not even a little. Blade is perfectly centered and the action is decent out of the box for as heavy as the blade is. You can shake the blade pretty well and it doesn’t come out. No real worries about this one opening up accidentally on me... It’s a tank. I absolutely love love love this knife. This knife is just ridiculously fun to look at, to hold, flick open with that loud click, and cut things with. I’ve only used it on cardboard and packaging stuff like that so far but it’s holding its edge like new. It’s overkill, I feel like It can go right through a car door easily, and it probably can, but it does what it’s designed to do and every day tasks exceedingly well. There’s not much this one can’t do. I’m gonna carry it for a few months and I’ll probably upgrade to the premium version. It’s just too much fun not to take with me. Mine came with the screw and lanyard, and the screw fits in perfect and easily no issues like other reviews had. Read more
