Customers say

Customers find this Turkish cotton robe to be of good quality, better than a towel, and appreciate its softness, with one noting it gets softer with each wash. Customers disagree on the size and length, with some finding it roomy while others say the sleeves are too big and the sleeves are about 6-8 inches too long.

Thick, nice cotton, great hood - proportions are a bit off

LisaFebruary 26, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Update after a year: I've given it another star; it really has grown on me. I don't like the hood as much as I expected but the abundance of fabric now is more like just being wrapped in a towel. ----- The cotton is nice, soft and quite thick and the navy color is very nice. The proportions seem kind of off, though, although looking closely at the photos on the offer, they look like I should have expected given that the model is going to be taller and thinner than me. I'm 5'5'', 150lbs, and L-XL came at about the right length - I got this specifically since it was to the floor. (this was washed once, line dried). But the shoulders/arms just look like the were intended for someone much larger, and since the fabric is so thick there's just too much fabric bunched up in front/sides under the belt. The sleeves are about 6-8" too long and very wide, but I can shorten them. The hood reaches over my head to my nose (but I like it that way). Then, below the waist the cut becomes more narrow and the front overlap seems scanty. I do recommend this, in spite of the complaints. A floor length cotton terry bathrobe is hard to find at all; and I think it's a good value for the quite reasonable price. Read more

Thinner than I anticipated

MLSOctober 1, 2025✓ Verified purchase

The robe is cute, but not as warm as I had hoped. I got the XLong hoping to at least get ankle length after washing. It shrunk about 3” in length after washing so is not ankle length on me (I’m 5’ tall). Make of that what you will. The sleeves shrunk as well, but still need to be cuffed which is how I expect a robe to do anyway. The XS fit is perfect for me. I can actually get to both pockets once it’s tied. That’s a first for me. I do like the warmth the hood creates on my upper back. My legs are cold, though. I wear gowns, not pajama bottoms, so take that into account if you’re considering buying. If you live in a warmer climate, the weight is good. If you live in the PNW, not so much. It did get softer after the first washing. I suspect it will continue fluffing up after washings. Can’t speak to quality yet. It appears well made, but only time will tell. Dropped a star for thinner than expected fabric and shrinkage. Read more

Great robe

I really wanted something to put on the second I stepped out of the shower due to the cold climate. It’s the perfect thickness without feeling bulky. It’s very absorbent so I don’t need an extra towel. It was more than I wanted to spend but I don’t regret it in the least. Read more

So happy I bought this comfy robe

rfarmNovember 1, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Love, love it. I got this robe because being older with hand and arm issues, it is difficult for me to use towels after showering. Now I just put this on and dry myself with a big comfy terry robe, I like the hood to dry my hair. It keeps me warm going from shower to bedroom and comes out even softer and fluffier after washing and the drier Read more

The robe for those bougie on a budget

SaushaSeptember 1, 2024✓ Verified purchase

**********FINAL UPDATE********** Wrapping it up with style: Well, friends, here we are. You’ve been with me since the beginning, and it’s been quite the saga with my once-luxurious bathrobe. It’s only been through the wash once, and yet, here we are, unraveling—literally. The robe itself? Still comfy, still doing its thing, but those threads? Oh, they’re dropping like flies. But the real star of this downward spiral is the belt. Imagine it started as a solid, respectable belt, but now…it’s fringe. Yes, fringe. I didn’t order a festival costume, but here I am, rocking a boho-chic bathrobe belt that would make any 70s throwback envious. Am I still wearing this robe around the house? Absolutely. Do I feel fancy? Kind of. But this thing will never see the light of public view. The threads keep falling, and I have a sneaky suspicion that if I keep washing it, it’ll eventually just be a pile of fringe with a label attached. So, I’ve made my peace with leaving this journey at a solid three stars. Thank you all for joining me on this adventure as it unraveled… Literally… Kind of. I had dreams of luxury, but now I feel like this robe was just stringing me along. Until next time! Pros: • Comfy and soft despite its fringe benefits. • Survived its first wash (mostly). • Still gives a vague sense of luxury (if you squint and ignore the belt). Cons: • The belt has turned into a frayed disaster. • Threads keep falling off like my husky shedding her winter coat. • The overall quality is going downhill faster than my hope for a luxe lounge day. Final TLDR: Once upon a time, I had high hopes for this bathrobe. I was the Wizard of the watering hole, the high priestess of the swimming pool but after just one wash, it’s still soft, but the belt is now more ‘festival fringe’ than ‘fancy robe,’ and threads are escaping like they’re on vacation. It’s comfy but won’t be making any public appearances. A solid three stars for a robe that dreamed big but ultimately unraveled (literally and figuratively). **********UPDATE********** Update: The Dream of Luxury… is Unraveling. Literally. Alright folks, it’s time for an update on my luxurious bathrobe adventure. Remember how I was living my best mock-bougie life in this robe, feeling like I had just stepped out of a five-star spa? Well, the dream is still alive… kind of. Let me explain. I’ve been practically living in this robe since the day it arrived. I mean, why wouldn’t I? It’s like being wrapped in a cloud. But, as with all good things, reality has come knocking—specifically in the form of tiny, rebellious threads. Yes, ladies and gents, this robe is starting to unravel. It’s subtle right now, just a few little strings here and there, nothing major, but enough to make me question whether this robe is planning an early retirement. Am I worried? Slightly. Do I still feel like a plush bathrobe wizard every time I wear it? Absolutely. But let’s be real—if this robe keeps shedding threads, I might end up looking less like a wizard and more like a very cozy, very fluffy scarecrow. I’m keeping a close eye on it, and let you know if I end up being able to dance on the threads of mock luxury, I’ll be back with another update. But for now, I’m still loving it, loose threads and all. Stay tuned to see if this robe can hold itself (and my spa dreams) together. TLDR Update: • Still cozy, still bougie, still feeling it. • Threads are starting to come out here and there, slightly concerning. • Will report back if I end up wearing a giant ball of string. Alright, picture this: I’ve always dreamed of owning one of those ridiculously long, luxurious white terrycloth robes—you know, the kind that rich people casually throw on after a dip in their private pools or a day at a fancy spa. But alas, I was neither rich, nor did I have a pool, and the closest I’d come to a spa day was watching someone else’s Instagram story. So, this robe remained nothing more than a fuzzy fantasy. Then, my birthday came around, and my aunt decided to treat me to an actual spa day. Yes, you read that right—me, at a spa. Suddenly, the stars aligned. I now live in a place with a pool (humble brag), and I thought, “Why not embrace this moment of pretend wealth?” So, I took the plunge and ordered the plushiest, most bougie bathrobe I could find on Amazon. Buying products based on reading reviews on Amazon can be so difficult because what is good is often subjective and sometimes you have to wade through people’s bad experience anger, resentment that they did not read the product correctly, and of course, the random Karen just waiting for their moment to shine, to find an all-around honest review. They were both good and bad reviews for this product, but I thought, at the very least if I don’t like it, I can return it and be done with my mock bougie lifestyle. I took a chance and ordered this bathrobe and I have to say I’m quite pleased. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Okay, I was ecstatic. I’m 5’3” and somewhere between 185 and 190 pounds on a good day, and this robe fits like it was tailored by the gods of coziness themselves. It’s long enough to practically sweep the floor behind me, and it wraps around my body like a warm, fuzzy burrito; and yes, I am the cheese. Some reviewers said the pockets were too high, but honestly, they’re right where they should be for me. And the hood—oh, the hood! It’s oversized in the best possible way, making me feel like some kind of mystical bathrobe wizard. So, whether you’re fresh out of the pool, stepping out of the shower, or pretending you’re at a five-star spa, this robe is everything you never knew you needed. I haven’t washed it yet, so the jury’s still out on whether it’ll survive a tumble in the washing machine. But for now, I’m living my best mock-bougie life. Stay tuned for updates—if I ever manage to peel myself out of this robe long enough to do laundry. TLDR: Thickness is a 10 out of 10 The packaging was perfect and very easy to remove The robe is long, nicely weighted, and looks amazing! I got the white with gray trim for the color and I love this. The gray and nice little accent to the white of the robe. The hood is perfectly oversized and will have you feeling like a cozy poolside wizard Read more

A gift for my wife

rlbrandnerJune 15, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I wanted to replace my wife's old robe that she loved. It was one of those heavy spa robes that, well, needed to be replaced. I looked around a lot and settled on this one. She loves it. It is a lighter fabric than her old one. This one feels like a medium weight towel. It is just as absorbent as her old one, and because it is lighter weight fabric, it's more comfortable for her to wear. She also likes the long length and the hood. Both come in really handy on cold winter mornings. And if she's happy, I'm happy. So I'm happy. Quality product, good buy. Read more
