You really can't go wrong with Egyptian cotton, it's the best there is. Sure, this is only an 800 thread count (you'll pay way more money for 1000 or 1200 thread counts), but the sheets are absolutely sturdy and well made, not to mention good to the touch. I have a 14" mattress with a 3" foam topper and these sheets fit near perfect. Do note that these are 18" deep pockets on the fitted sheet with this product. These sheets are so thick and soft. When I washed them before putting them on beds, there was barely any lint in the dryer vent. So happy they had twin XL size because they for perfectly. I was looking for 100% Egyptian cotton 1000 thread count and almost passed these up! Delighted that I decided to go ahead and purchase 2 sets! For 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, I am highly surprised that they are pilling. I bought them in July 2025 and have noticed the pilling for the last couple months (and I alternate sheets every other month) other than that sheets are very good quality, but can't stand the feeling of pilling.
