This game is SOO much fun, for kids and adults. We’ve always enjoyed the adult version, bit since having kids haven’t played much. My 7yo picked this right up, and even my 5 yr old is starting to figure it out. She plays with an adult still but she’s starting to play on her own. What I like is kids that can’t read yet don’t have to be able to read the names of the cities, because they also have symbols the kids can match to see where their train routes are. It is challenging, and has the kids use critical thinking skills at an age appropriate level. The size of the board is perfect. The quality is top notch. I will say if you’ve never played before, it takes some time to read the rules and understand how to play (even as an adult) but I would say, just watch a YouTube video. Once you get it, it’s easy.
