I bought this card either refurbished or open box, I don't remember. It didn't come in original box which was disappointing but expected. The card works great, thermals are perfect under load. I am gaming on Linux now and this card is still the high end card, beating the 9070XT and even the Nvidia 5080 and 4090, all game settings maxed out, this card plays on Linux even better than on Windows. My computer is a mini data center, so it's somewhat noisy, but this card isn't noisy enough to contribute to the already loud HDDs scrubbing data. Installation was as easy as any other card. I paid $699.99 and I have enough VRAM for games and AI. Absolute bargain! The 4090 is 2.5x more expensive, but in Linux, the king is the 7900XTX. True that ROCm isn't as mature as CUDA, but I don't use CUDA, so for me this was the best choice and I don't regret my purchase one bit. Read more

I’ve been extremely impressed with the ASRock AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming. This card delivers exceptional performance across a wide range of demanding titles, especially at 1440p ultra settings, where it absolutely shines. In Hogwarts Legacy, I consistently saw well over 300 FPS at 1440p on ultra settings with a very stable frame rate. No stuttering, no sudden dips—just smooth, fluid gameplay. The same level of performance carried over to other demanding games like Le Mans Ultimate, Monster Hunter World, and The Last of Us Part I, all of which ran flawlessly with high frame rates and excellent consistency. What stands out the most is the stability. Even during long gaming sessions, the card maintains strong performance without thermal issues or throttling. The Phantom Gaming cooling solution does a great job keeping temperatures under control while staying relatively quiet. Read more

Bad, Bad, Bad...Ive tried countless times uninstalling driver. Keep getting error code (43) Updated bios on Asrock motherboard. Cannot stress enough of the heartache ive had trying everything under the sun to get this video card to work and stay working. Many times after i did a SafeMode driver Uninstall (DDU). I could reboot machine and sometimes it would start working again. Only after few days it fails again. Only to start the process all over again. I bought a new motherboard and cpu and installed it into that system to see if it was Asrock motherboard causing issues. It was not that I could tell. After installing it on new system same results. Work for few hours to a couple days and fail again. Love the graphics led on outer part of card. Last thing todo call Asrock since i waited longer that 3mo to return it, so it seems i have to call manu. and see how that goes. Maybe they should have called this card Error 43 Read more

The media could not be loaded. I upgraded from an EVGA 10G 3080 FTW3. I had to boot my windows into safe mode and completely uninstall the NVIDIA graphics drivers, then shut down the PC, put the 7900XTX in and install the AMD Adrenaline drivers. It was relatively easy to install, just annoying. Despite the small hassle, this is an amazing upgrade, the Ray tracing is of weaker/similar performance as the 3080, but the rasterization performance is just so much better. The power consumption is pretty high so the power bill may rise. This card has a whooping 24GB of GDDR6 VRAM which is more than enough, some games will use most of it which is an amazing sight in itself. This card specifically does create a quiet buzzing/coil whine when reaching higher framerates, which isn't really noticable with a headset on. It also creates a vibration, particularly when loading shaders or something heavier, I noticed it on Stalker Heart of Chernobyl. This card is amazing for 2K performance and is very much a 4K card. The AMD FSR3 and Frame generation are great, not quite better than DLSS, still nonetheless great. This is one of the cheapest variants of the 7900XTX cards but it very much packs a punch with 3x8 PCIe slots. The overclocking compatibility is amazing and the card stays really cool with good airflow. The RGB uses its own software called PolyChrome or Razer to change the colors and patterns, it's alright, just annoying to have, once you change it to what you want, you never have to mess with it again. I've looked into a lot of different variants and this one looks like the best run for your money in just about every way, from cooling to performance and overclocking. Though if Ray tracing and DLSS means a lot to you, go for the 4080S, otherwise, this card is a beast and I'm glad I made the switch. Read more

Graphics card was in perfect condition! Looks and runs amazing! Pretty bulky of a card so make sure your PC tower has enough space for it. Probably the quietest graphics card I have ever had. Honestly for the price you couldn't go wrong with this card. Super excited to have it! The seller was great at communicating with me. Super thankful for their help with the tracking information when amazon wasn't working. Read more

Like others have posted, I bought into the AMD hype thinking I was buying a great product, and I made a terrible decision. Constant video card crashes on a brand new build for multiple newer titles. I've tested everything I possibly can for failure: PSU, CPU, RAM, fresh Windows installs, driver rollbacks, DirectX API swaps, safe mode driver cleanups, BIOS updates and tweaks, etc. and the only item left on that list is this card. The only way I've gotten this card to somewhat comply, it to neuter its capabilities, as well as tank my quality settings in game. And Adrenaline, what a disaster that is to deal with. This experience has really left a sour taste in my mouth about AMD, and I very much so regret the purchase. Read more
