I got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Our old set was beyond sharpening, they probably could be sharpened, but this is a better set much better layout. The blades are nice and sharp right out of the box and the block that comes with. It is very nice as well as a built-in sharpener that we’ve already used. It works very well.
