The day this arrived, temperatures started rising, so I haven’t been able to test this in really frigid temps and high winds. But with temperatures in the 30s on a relatively calm day, I was surprised how warm this kept my face and head. The Balaclava did not interfere with my breathing, which is something I feared. The fabric is very soft, which I appreciate. The one thing I don’t like is that the fit is very snug. Not uncomfortably so, but snugger than I would like. From the ad, I thought it was one-size-fits-all, but there is a “Medium” size label on the garment. I’ll be wearing it more this month and hopefully it will loosen up a tad or I will become accustomed to putting it on and taking it off. Right now, that’s still a little bit cumbersome. Fits great and is very warm. My problem is that the venting is almost nonexistent. I wear safety glasses all day and if I have this mask on they instantly fog and stay that way until I take the mask off. The thickness was great and it was very comfortable. I want so bad to give it 5 stars but I can’t do to the fact I can’t use this product with any kind of glasses on. Read more
It's a very solid thermal face mask. It covers ear, head, and nose very well. I used it as a inside layer and then I added another layer to cover my head using my down jacket hood. It really could stand -20 degree celsius of weather without problem. I love it! Read more
