I deducted one star from 5 Stars, I will tell you why at the end of review. First of all, I use first Raikiri Pro and I loved it. Now with second Raikiri, I like the fact that they improved the D-Pad design. The quality seems better than first Raikiri and buttons were weird to feel at first because it felt like you didn’t press them enough but you can see your button commands are working through the screen. They are little more comfortable than first Raikiri models and you have to open Armory Crate then it will take you to website where you can customize your preferred controls. The wireless response is fast like a lightening bolt and I like how you can put the charger with USB Dongle inside the protection case so you can rest the controller on it and close the case to prevent dust. Now, I gave it 4 Stars because I’m disappointed that it doesn’t have OLED. OLED was very useful because you can see which profile you are on. I am looking forward to see next new ROG controller and I hope they will bring OLED back to help us with changing our profiles easier. Yes, I recommend this controller. Read more

All on all I'm happy with the rgb lighting options. I do mind that I need to go online to a website to customize the settings. It should be integrated into armory crate like the rest of the asus devices. I'm also unhappy that my right bumper is squeaky its getting annoying. The back buttons are only mapped to other controller buttons and I can't set any macros even though the settings page has a macros option. The controller is one of the best I've owned. Fast to start up and stays connected. Battery has been phenomenal. A little on the expensive side, but got sick of replaced sticks on controller boards because of stick drift. Read more

ASUS forces you to use their "Gear Link" website instead of Armoury Crate and claims it's a no-hassle way to configure the device. However, they only allow you to use Chrome or Edge, which I don't use (for privacy reasons), so I can't even change any of the settings on a device that cost almost $200 USD. Gear Link also won't function if you block JavaScript on their website to get around the user agent check, so it's completely useless. ASUS tried to make something that everyone complains about (managing devices in Armoury Crate) much simpler, and in the process made it much, much worse. Not going to install a Google spyware browser on my computer just to configure a gaming controller. Guess it's time to refund and go back to Razer... Read more

Was unable to redeem the free game. ASUS's website claimed i had already registered the item which I only let armory crate install the device amd it always wants to register things so I did. But maybe that prevented me from registering for the game voucher which is a rip off and more clear instructions or maybe a response at all from customer service claiming or helping with something other tham telling me the same thing the registry claimed that I already registered the item. I am the only user and should be the same account that I. Attempting to claim the game voucher from should know when logging into my account that I am thr only one who has owned the controller.. receipt is from Amazon.
