Amazing performance and value for 1440p gaming & creative work.

Amazing performance and value for 1440p gaming & creative work. I’m really impressed with the ASUS Prime GeForce RTX™ 5070 OC Edition 12GB GDDR7 — it’s one of the best mid-range GPUs you can get right now. With 12 GB of GDDR7 memory, NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, and PCIe 5.0 support, this card delivers strong performance in modern games and creative applications without a huge price tag. Performance & Cooling: The card stays cool even under long gaming sessions thanks to its triple-fan Axial-tech cooling design and efficient heat dissipation features, so you can enjoy high frame rates without worrying about overheating. It’s also relatively quiet in normal use. Compatibility & Features: It supports 8K output, has multiple DisplayPort 2.1b and HDMI 2.1b ports, and fits most builds with its 2.5-slot design that’s also compatible with some small form factor (SFF) cases. The dual BIOS allows you to choose between performance and quiet modes depending on your needs. User Satisfaction: Most users highlight its excellent gaming performance, especially at 1440p with DLSS, and reliable cooling. Just make sure your PC case and power supply (recommended 750 W) can support the card’s size and requirements. Pros: Strong 1440p and solid 4K performance with DLSS support. Efficient and fairly quiet cooling. 12 GB GDDR7 memory for demanding tasks. Dual BIOS with performance and quiet modes. Good array of video outputs and future-proof PCIe 5.0 support. Cons: Large 2.5-slot size — check case compatibility first. Some users report coil whine in rare cases. Requires a quality PSU (recommended ~750 W). Summary: Overall, this ASUS Prime RTX 5070 OC Edition offers excellent performance and thermals for its price point. Whether you’re gaming or doing creative work, it’s a solid choice that balances power, cooling, and features — great for anyone upgrading their PC Read more

Good Upgrade Choice For middle ground

Badass, Switched over from a Gtx 1060 6gb that I was using for the last 6 years, was bottlenecking my system with it since over the years I had switched to pcie 5.0 , am5, and DDR5. RTX 5070 to match the rest of the build has been running all my games beautifully at max graphics, with no heating issues and giving me performance I craved with all the peace of mind. Great choice 12 Gigabytes is plenty and its been very powerful. Read more

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Upgrade I Didn’t Have to Sell a Kidney For

Eric BabcockNovember 18, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Let me tell you something: I have been rocking an RTX 2080 Super for YEARS like a proud dad refusing to let the old family minivan die. It’s been reliable, it’s been loyal, but… whew. It was time. I wanted an upgrade — a REAL upgrade — but I also didn’t want to sell an arm, a leg, and my left kidney just to afford a graphics card in 2025. (Looking at you, 5090-Ti-Super-Mega-Ultra-Whatever.) Enter the ASUS SFF-Ready RTX 5070 OC Edition, the hero I didn’t know I needed. The second I booted up my system with this thing installed, my socks were blown clean off my feet. Like—my GPU fans weren’t even spinning yet and I was already in love. The jump from a 2080 Super to this 5070 feels illegal. Frame rates? ✨Beautiful. Temperatures? Cool like a cucumber with sunglasses. Size? SFF-friendly, meaning it actually fits without me sacrificing airflow, cable management, or my sanity. Noise? Practically whispering sweet FPS into my ear. I’ve pushed this card hard — gaming, streaming, multitasking, the whole chaotic Windows lifestyle — and it has handled EVERYTHING without a single hiccup. No crashes. No weird driver drama. No “please reboot to fix your sadness” popup. Nothing. And the best part? I didn’t have to sell a body part to get it. If you want a powerhouse GPU, don’t want to remortgage your house, and are coming from an older card like the 20-series… this upgrade hits DIFFERENT. ASUS knocked it out of the park with this one. Incredible performance

OniApril 20, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Coming from a Quadro 4000, what an upgrade! Games nowadays require a lot of graphical power that I just couldn't match anymore, and since I've become a more devoted PC gamer, I decided to start looking for a new GPU (after being taught what it was). I don't know much about this stuff even now, but what I can say is that the improvement feels night-and-day. I've seen many reviews on GPUs with regards to the new Monster Hunter game specifically, so I thought to include my benchmark after the switch (my previous score was 14000 on High graphics) - excellent (20000+) performance on Ultra graphics in a game of this caliber is something I'd have never imagined! The fans aren't loud (no louder than my 4000, anyway), sits pretty in my case without issue, and this little beast has overall improved my gaming experience to an extent that I wouldn't have been able to fathom until I saw it for myself. I can even see the pores in game characters' faces now (and I'd love the brand of face masks they're using to keep those pores looking so good)! Finally, I know there's contention about the prices of these, but at least for me, it was 100% worth it despite that and I'm glad that I took the leap on ordering it. Highly recommend. Read more
