Way exceeded my expectations!

John M.December 12, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I packed this in my luggage to take on an out of state hunting trip. It’s so lightweight for travel and kept me warm with weather in the 40’s. I’m 5’11 210 pounds and was very comfortable in this bag. The size is perfect. I was not cramped at all in this bag. Very high quality sleeping bag. I strongly recommend this sleeping bag and would buy it again. In fact, I think this is a great gift idea for the outdoors person in your life. Read more

Not worth the price!

Hank&DorothyNovember 18, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Update! The seller contacted me and offered a refund. This says a lot about their interest in customer service. The sleeping bag is fine, just priced a little high. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. This bag is such a disappointment for the price. Not much padding at all and certainly not worth the price. I would have returned it but since it was a gift the return window closed. You'll need to buy a padded mat to put under this if you buy it. Read more

Not For Taller People Or Very Cold Temps

FunLuvrApril 1, 2024

I've spent more nights under the stars than I care to count, so I reckon I've got a good sense of what works and what's just fluff. With that in mind, here's my take on the ATEPA Down Sleeping Bag: Pros: 1. Light as a Feather: First off, this sleeping bag doesn't weigh much. It's a blessing for those long treks to the beach campsite at Padre Island. Carrying it doesn't make you feel like you're hauling a week's worth of groceries across a parking lot. 2. Packs Down Small: It's like one of those magic tricks where they keep pulling things out of a hat. This sleeping bag packs down so small you'll double-check to make sure it's actually in your pack. Great for saving space for the more important stuff, like snacks. 3. Warm Enough for Chilly Nights: It keeps you cozy without making you sweat like you're running a marathon. I've used it on nights when the coastal wind decides to remind you it's there, and it's kept me snug as a bug. 4. Quality Material: The down inside feels like it's premium stuff, and the outer shell has held up against the occasional stick or sand scratching against it. Not saying it's invincible, but it's tougher than it looks. Cons: 1. Fit for a Mummy, Literally: They weren't kidding when they said it's a mummy sleeping bag. If you're a taller fella like me (6'6"), you might find it a bit snug around the shoulders and feet. It's cozy until you want to stretch out, then you're a bit stuck. 2. Zipper Fumbles: The zipper works, don't get me wrong, but it's like trying to thread a needle in the dark sometimes. A bit fiddly, and it has caught on the fabric more times than I'd like to admit. 3. Not for the Deep Freeze: While it's great for those brisk nights, if you're planning an expedition to the Arctic, you might want to look elsewhere. It's warm, but not 'survive the tundra' warm. So, those are my thoughts about the ATEPA Down Sleeping Bag. Know what temperatures you expect, and then make sure it's long enough for you. Read more
