I think these are too tall for an ankle boot due to the tops of the boots cutting into my leg while walking. I don’t want to be that much aware of my shoes as I walk. I wear a size 8.5 and found them to be a little narrow. The soles had enough cushion to be comfortable, if only they weren’t too tall or narrow for me. So minus two stars for those reasons. I really wanted them to work because they’re very cute and they have a low heel. They came packaged and protected very well. They feel like a good quality boot. Maybe they’ll fit better for you.
