This small bottle of body wash smells really good, like eucalyptus. It’s great to put on in the shower or in the tub. Leave it on your skin as long as you can and then rinse. I am sensitive to fragrance, but when I first opened the bottle it smelled rather fresh and a bit medicinal like tea tree oil, and I thought maybe it would be ok. Once lathered up in the shower the fragrance grew stronger, permeating the whole area. I found it unpleasant, it bothered my sinuses, but thought maybe I was extra sensitive that day, and didn't notice the fragrance lingering on my skin afterwards. So I gave it another try. The second time the fragrance seemed even stronger and I decided to stop using it and switched to another body wash. My eyes have been irritated the past few days and I suspect this may have something to do with it. The first time I used it and nothing else, it did clean well, and didn't irritate my skin. I find it quite pricey at $35 for under 10 ounces. If you're able to tolerate the strong fragrance and it works to clear your acne, you might find it worth it. Read more

This shower cleanser has a very strong scent. It isn't necessarily BAD, but it is quite potent. It doesn't seem to be quite as obnoxious on my skin after I rinse off though, and it does leave me feeling fresh and clean without drying out my skin. It lathers decently on my shower pouf and does not leave my skin feeling slimy or tight. Other than the high price tag, I am happy with this product. Read more

Especially considering the price ($35 when I ordered it), this is a pretty small bottle of body wash. It's a no-frills product in a fairly basic-looking bottle...nothing fancy here, which I frankly would sort of expect in this price range. However, I do realize this is a more treatment-focused product than an indulgence, so that's fine. The product itself has a very strongly herbal, botanical scent. I enjoy it, but it is a lot, and it may well just be too strong for those who are more sensitive to fragrances, especially in the small space of a bathroom shower. It lathers nicely, though, and it is pH-balanced, so it won't irritate skin. It is actually intended and advertised to clear problem skin, reducing oiliness and acne, but I can't attest to that. If you aren't put off by the high price tag and the very strong scent, it might be worth a try. By the way, this is the third product from this brand, Atoskin, that I've tried. I have tried for each review to find out whether or not any of these products are cruelty-free, but no such information exists. It's not readily available, in any case, which leads me to a rather unpleasant assumption: this and other Atoskin products are tested on terrified and immobilized innocent dogs, cats, and rabbits.
