Exactly what I was looking for. I preferred to stay with the Atra - a razor I've been using for 30 years - not only because I probably don't need five edges on each razor, but because I had recently purchased a hundred replacement blades just in time for my 30 year old handle to finally bite the dust (beyond fixable - hee hee). I'm writing this review on the first day since receiving it. It's metal, it's got some weight, the replacement blade mechanism works smoothly and it's a good looking handle at a very fair price. Before buying this I had checked eBay for inexpensive replacements for my handle, and I was impressed that my exact old handle was still making its rounds as "vintage." But I just couldn't bring myself to buy one of those at a premium price just BECAUSE they were "vintage." This excellent brand-new handle costs less than sellers on eBay were asking for sometimes-used handles. If you still use Atra blades and your old handle has gone south on you, purchase this handle.
