This is a nice body wash but not sure why it smells like something a hospital would give you in a care package if you were admitted. I cannot describe the smell. It isn't like anybody wash I have ever tried before. The price is quite high, it lathers ok, it just has a smell to it. The body does feel very clean and not stripped of any natural oils. Still wondering if I should purchase another bottle. Read more

Great quality bath gel. Does not out perform against any other luxurious bath product that are half the cost. Read more

This is a refreshing body wash with a light scent that fades quickly, which is great if you prefer unscented or mildly scented products. It’s formulated in Germany and made in France. This can be the reason why it’s a bit pricier than other cleansers I’ve used. The cleanser has a thick, clear gel texture that spreads easily on the skin. It lathers rapidly, though not excessively, and a small amount goes a long way for a full-body wash. It feels silky and smooth during use and rinses off easily with warm or hot water. After washing, my skin feels clean but not dry. The key ingredient in this cleanser is TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex), a blend of 40 amino acids, peptides, vitamins, and skin-identical molecules. It’s designed to boost cellular energy and support the skin’s natural repair process. I haven’t seen noticeable results yet, but I’m optimistic. The price is definitely on the higher side. But since a little goes a long way, and if it really does help with skin rejuvenation, then it is worth money.. Read more

The scent of this is kind of gross. It's definitely eucalyptus but mostly reads as an antiseptic/medicinal type smell that I cannot get on board with. It's overpowered and lingers. The body wash is typical consistency and does work up easily into a nice lather. My skin felt clean but still soft and moisturized. That said, I've had the same or better results with significantly more pleasant scent from less expensive, more readily available products. This feels like paying for a brand name. I am not particularly impressed and certainly would not order this again...I likely won't even finish this small bottle. Read more

Love this body cleanser so much! It has a wonderful spa-like eucalyptus aroma and it makes my skin so soft and moisturized. It lathers up so much. It feels like a real treat for me. This is worth the price point to me. Read more

Feels very nice post-wash. Smells exceptionally strange for a luxury body wash - very pharmaceutical. I think this is wildly over-priced. The legendary TCF is washed off too quickly to benefit the skin. I don't get it. Read more

I’ve been using Augustinus Bader skincare for a few years now - The Cream, The Rich Cream (my favorite), The Face Oil, The Body Cream, and the Victoria Beckham serum created in partnership with AB. I hadn’t tried the Body Cleanser yet, so when I saw it available on Amazon, decided to give it a try. The cleanser has a very light eucalyptus scent - fresh and clean without being overpowering. It’s perfect first thing in the morning or after a workout. I usually gravitate toward light, natural-smelling floral, citrus, marine, or green scents, and this falls right into that category: clean, subtle, and natural smelling. Most importantly, it delivers on hydration. I use the Salux Extra Hard body cloth (the roughest cloth they make) and you can easily dry out your skin because it’s so exfoliating, but when paired with this body wash, my skin comes out smooth and hydrated. Yes, it’s expensive. And no, the bottle isn’t huge. But with the right loofah or sponge - or a Salux - a small amount goes a long way. If you’re already a fan of Augustinus Bader - or just want a gentle body cleanser with a restrained and clean scent - this is a worthy addition. Read more

1. I found the eucalyptus scent refreshing and soothing—it's subtle, clean, and elevates the shower experience without being overwhelming. 2. I appreciate how well this cleanser hydrates my skin without leaving it feeling stripped or dry, especially after exfoliating. 3. I was impressed with how rich and creamy the lather feels despite using only a small amount, which makes the product last longer than expected. 4. I enjoy the sleek, grippy bottle design, which is both elegant and practical in the shower. 5. I value the use of TFC8® technology, which supports skin regeneration and reflects the same high-performance standards as the brand’s other luxury skincare items. * While the formula is luxurious, the purchase is difficult to justify given the small size and only moderate performance compared to more affordable alternatives.
