These are very cute flared leggings for girls. I love the purple color. It is a true and pretty purple, not grayed or too pale. The fabric is soft and breathable. It is made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. I love it when children’s clothes are made with a fabric that is mostly cotton. Cotton is skin friendly. Today, many children have skin sensitivities. A mostly cotton blend fabric is generally considered hypoallergenic. This fabric is soft and feels nice against the skin. It also has a little stretch for a comfortable and relaxed fit. The sewing in the pants is of high quality. The waistband is elastic, which will provide a more comfortable fit. However, the elastic in this waistband is just drawn through a sleeve opening. The elastic is not stitched down. In this kind of waistband, the elastic can twist, turn, and fold over, with a few wearings. After a time, the waistband might become less comfortable and smooth. I ordered these purple flared pants for my tween granddaughter, who loves purple. She loved the color and the style of the pants. Even though she is tall for her age, these pants fit her perfectly. They were not too short or too long. They also were not too tight in the leg or in the waistband. They do ride a little low, since these are not high-waisted pants, but they are not low-rider pants. In my opinion, I think they look great with a longer-type cropped top, so that no skin is revealed. The pants have a slimming affect, with the more narrow long lines of the pants style, while still keeping the stylish-flare at the bottom of the pants. The plants did arrive with deep wrinkles, due to the tightly-bound, plastic packaging. I washed it immediately, in order to release the wrinkles in the fabric. The pants require simple easy care. I washed the pants on the normal setting in tap water, and dried it on the normal dryer setting. It washed beautifully. It did not fade, lose its shape, shrink, or wrinkle. The pants looked just as beautiful after washing, as they did before. Because of the softness of the fabric, the pretty color, the trendy styling, the comfortable fit, and the easy care, these leggings are sure to become one of my granddaughter’s favorite pair of pants. I also want to commend the manufacturer for following US laws for selling garments in America. This manufacturer included labels in the garment that listed the fabric content, the care instructions, where the garment was made, and the name of the manufacturing company, as required by US laws. I point this out, because I have discovered that some manufacturers do not comply with these US laws. I appreciate that this manufacture followed US laws, and respected the consumer’s need to know this information. Kudos to the manufacturer. Considering the excellent quality of these flared-leggings, I think the price is very reasonable. I recommend these cute, mostly cotton, and stylish pants to you. Read more
Well I really like these pants and my daughter thinks they are super comfy, I wouldn't say these are uniform worthy pants. If you're looking something for your child to be able to wear to school. The material is quite thin, and though it's got a looser fit, it still is too thin to wear his pants to school. The sizing is accurate and the length is good, they are easy to washes well, but can get a bit wrinkly if you don't pull them out of the dryer right away. In terms of value, I would say it's probably on par with other uniform pants, but you could probably find leggings for less. The color is nice though, and I do not think they are see-through.
