This dress is really lovely! I didn’t realize when I ordered it that it came with pockets — as convenient as pockets are, I find they normally make a dress look a bit awkward but that’s not the case here. The pockets are functional yet they don’t cause the fabric to look bunched up on the sides, they’re not really noticeable at all which I love! The color is a little bit more pale in person than how it’s shown but I adore the color of the actual dress so for me it’s not a complaint, but just know that for the green one at least, the shade of the color is just a bit off. I love that this dress is nice enough to wear to work as a teacher with just a little denim jacket tossed over my shoulders, but is still so soft, feels very casual and isn’t too warm for our hot afternoons. Size / fit info: I’m 5’7” - 167 lbs - 36B - usually wear size Large / 12 in dresses. I ordered this in my regular size large and the fit is fantastic! It falls below my knees just where I’d expected it to and it’s incredibly flattering. It minimizes my waist and helps me feel sufficiently covered up for work but also like I look good and am wearing something cute. I’d definitely stick to your regular size for this one. I am very happy with this dress. The fit is great, true size. I like the way the gathering at the top allows for a fitted look with a ton of stretch to accommodate different body shapes and sizes. The cut is very forgiving, which is great for those of us who are busty, but then like the fabric to flow away from our stomach areas while avoiding the “circus tent” silhouette. The stretchy top accentuates my waist well at the narrowest point before flaring out. The neckline and arm holes are cut well to be flattering, and keep a bra hidden. The pockets are a great added bonus and they are placed nicely so that they don’t affect the silhouette of the dress. The color is as expected a nice deep green for the version that I ordered. I washed the dress in cold water and hung to dry with good effect. I was particularly impressed with the fact that there were hardly any wrinkles. This would be a great dress to pack for a vacation. I wasn't sure I'd like this dress, because smocking seems to be rather hit-or-miss. But the smocking on this dress helps the bodice fit very attractively and still be surprisingly comfortable. The fit draws the eye to my bust and narrow waist, without going too low at the neckline. It even has the high armsceyes that I prefer, because I know my bra won't show. The fit is true-to-size. I love dresses with pockets, especially if those pockets are so well hidden that I don't notice them. These pockets are practically invisible as long as they're empty, though they're big enough to hold my phone. In other words, they're perfect. The fabric used throughout this dress is a soft, flowy tee-shirt material that packs easily and looks great even if you're pulling it out of a suitcase. You can dress it up with some nice heels or go casual with some flat sandals. It's a perfect summer dress, though you can stretch it into spring and fall with a jacket and maybe some boots. This AUSELILY dress is a great summer dress. The material is soft and lightweight. I sized up on this dress from my usual large to an extra large, as I did not want the bust too be too tight with the smocking "pulled". I'm glad I did- it fits perfectly and the smocking across the bust looks great. I would actually recommend sizing up because the whole dress seems to fit really well. The coverage on the shoulders is good and the length is mid-calf (I'm 5'7"). This dress washed well on cold and I hung it to dry with no wrinkling. It would make a good vacation dress since it is packable and doesn't wrinkle. The pattern is well-done with bright colors and no blobby or smeared spots. Honestly was a huge fan of the dress. I likes the way the material felt. It had pockets which is always a plus. The color looked amazing and was one of the most comfortable dresses I've every really worn. However that being said the top was really scratchy. Like itchy almost and i genuinely wouldn't feel comfortable for wearing it for too long. Its good as a night out dress but not something you'd wear all day. In order for it to be comfortable in that way is have to wear a tank top or something underneath at least the top scrunchy bit. The dress fir nicely and fit a little bit more snug after a wash and dry. With the perfect pair of shoes its honestly an amazing dress just not something to wear in the long term. Read more
