I used this product to rewire my 1953 Chrysler New Yorker. Great quality for an inexpensive price! Install was simple, for someone who has experience in auto wiring. If you don't have experience, you can accomplish the job, but may find some difficulties. don't worry about wire length, this company provides more than enough. Looks great and neat once installed properly. Everything functioned properly. All wires were labeled with exception of two black wires, which I traced back to the fuse block and found out it was for the HVAC. I will definitely purchase more of these than the Painless brand that cost 3-4 times more. I highly recommend this product! Read more
I used this to replace the main wiring harness in a 1955 Chevrolet Belair. It is adequate for the task and also allowed me to relocate my dimmer switch wiring to be internal to the car with a newer floor switch. For the money, I do not think someone can go wrong so long as they fully understand how vehicle electrics work. Each circuit has plenty of wire to work with and I believe the wire sizing is up to task. That said, the instructions are very basic and the user will need to know how they translate to their application. There were some flaws that I noticed. I found with this harness the fuse panel connections are cheaply made and often require massaging when pulling and replacing fuses. Additionally, two of the fuse positions were mislabeled though it was obvious once I looked at the actual wires involved. I also had two of the physical wires mislabeled which caused a bit of confusion at first but once the main sections were laid out in the car, it became obvious where the issue was. All things considered, if I were looking to put in a harness on a classic car that I was looking to sell I would likely buy this one again. It gets the job done and is priced right. Read more

I must have got a good one. I read the other bad reviews and decided to take a chance and I experienced non of what the others did. I have done a few of these over the years and this was as good as any of the others I have used and a whole lot cheaper. I was ready to do some soldiering on the back of the fuse block. Didn't need it. I was ready to cover bare wires behind the fuse block. The terminals on the back of the fuse block was PERFECT. I couldn't expect any better. I was pleased. As far as the instructions go. The are vague at best but this is not for the beginner. Non of the others I have used instructions were any better. They probably expect you to have a clue to begin with. The smudged wire description. That person must have never worked with automotive wiring. Never seen a wire that wasn't smudged. and it is printed every 5 inches so just find a different spot to read. By the way there wasn't alot of smudged print. All wires are marked correctly so far. The color coding follows GMs style from at least the 70's back so it was familiar. The only complaint I have (and this is with all of them I've used) is that at the fuse block it is just a bunch of spaghetti. I wish they would group the wires better at the block instead of the thick twisted mess that I usually take 2-3 hours redoing to fit my project. That being said it is a universal kit and will always need tweaking to fit YOUR needs. All in All I am pleasantly surprised and my project is moving forward. If when I finish it and I see any problems I will update. But as for now 2 thumbs up!! Good quality for the price. I will buy again. Read more
It's a lot of wire for the money and most of it is pretty good quality. What I don't like is the smudged and barely legible labeling and the connections at the fuse block. Instructions are generic, same as all the others , not color and lacking a complete circuit diagram, nor does it have a fuse block diagram. In general, the wires are heavy gauge for the typical circuit needs, 12awg for the supply wires to the fuse block, 14awg for most circuits, and 16awg for sensors and other lighter duty circuits. Headlight circuits are 16awg, so those could use an additional relay sub-system, at least if you want to use high-wattage halogen bulbs. Read more

Bought this in 2023 because I was restoring a 67 Camaro. I wish i would’ve paid more for auto wire or other high bought wiring harness. The ink they used to label wire rubs off very easily. Some wire colors don’t match gm. Tried calling and emailing them with no success. I am knowledgeable on wiring but it turned into a headache over and over. Read more
The only thing is I'd rather have a bus type fuse instead of fuseable link. Other wise pretty easy to install. Read more
