Really wanted to like it since it's so compact :o
It's not a bad umbrella, great compact size and aesthetic design. However, there was the a bit of the classic plastic chemical smell upon opening (which leaves one to wonder about the manufacturing process or quality of material in terms of health hazard, but certain umbrella materials probably all smell a bit odd right out of the factory? not an expert on this). The metal infrastructure did unfortunately seemed a bit flimsey and hard to open/close, but at this price point it's both expected and unfortunate.
