compared to the LASFIT 921 LEDs these are a bit brighter but twice as expensive so in my opinion not worth the extra cost bit if you want the brightest of the two these are it. They are a bit tight to fit in but if you wiggle them they will seat properly around the rubber grommet just fine. Read more

I compared these to 8 other top brands on here, and these were the brightest. This was not much of a surprise as they were the only ones with a separate wiring harness pigtail and massive heatsink. I will say though, there are bulbs made by Alla, that are about 70% as bright, for about $10.38 when on sale. I think the Alla are the best bang for the buck, but if you want the brightest lights regardless of cost, these are them. I will say because the pigtail harness plugs into your factory plastic twist in piece, the bulb has its own "one size fits all" rubber grommet around the body and you have to twist and fight it to get it to seat in the factory taillights, as they had to make it in such a way that it will hopefully be compatible with all taillights. The installation isn't "hard" necessarily, but it's definitely not as easy as the smaller bulbs that just plug directly into the factory plastic twist in plug. Also one other concern I have, is despite the rubber grommet being around the body of the bulb and sealing the taillight, the factory plastic pigtail is left open to moisture, mud and dirt as it is no longer sealed up inside factory taillights. I am using these lights on a 4x4 truck, and when I go through deep water mud, especially under heavy acceleration, it gets kicked up on the inside of the rear body panel and some hits the back of the taillight structure which means there is a decent chance I could get water or mud in the connection. Yes I could put a bunch of dielectric grease in the factory pigtails which will protect it from water, and maybe mud a little, but it will also attract dust and dirt and eventually turn into a big nasty mess with time. I just wish there was a better solution to the install that would seal it up like the factory connections are. Just something to keep in mind. You could probably use dielectric grease AND wrap it in electrical tape and that would probably solve it. Read more

I'll first say that these lights are bright and seem to be good quality. My issue with them is the fitment used to hold them in the light housing. It is some universal "on-size fits all" blue silicon ring. They don't feel very snug when you have them inserted. They do not "twist" in to your housing like the OEM bulb holder. Because of this I am giving them 3 stars - not a negative reflection of the light itself or the brightness. The light output is great and VERY bright. However, it just seems a poor design. Having said that, the reason I bought these is because I bought an LED direct bulb replacement (Auxito brand as well actually), and they were really loose and didn't fit snug into the bulb housing. I couldn't use them. So I thought these would be better since they click into the bulb housing, and then fit directly in the light housing. Time will tell if they stay in place over time. I will update this review after they have been in for a while... They give you these little rubber o-rings and say, "If the light is not tight in the housing, use the included rubber rings". We'll see if they work, but I don't have high hopes. They don't jiggle to the touch, but it doesn't take much to pop them out of the housing. July 2021 UPDATE: So I've had these now for quite a while. Much to my surprise, they have not fallen out or had any issues. For this, I am updating to 4 stars. I think to get 5 stars, I would still prefer something that felt sturdier. I'm not exactly off-roading in my Honda Accord, but I imagine if you drove on some rough road, these would eventually come out. But for my use, they have worked great. Granted, during COVID I have not driven a great deal. Read more

These get 5 stars unless they die early. These are incredibly bright and look amazing. I compared these with the Alla lights that are about $10-11, as another buyer reported them being about 70% as bright which seems about right. I don't really care for the rubber plug that is used to seat the bulb in the car. If these are 921 bulbs, I don't see why they couldn't have just used the standard twist fitment like the oem socket. They fit my 26 civic hybrid hatchback with the o rings installed, but I'm unsure how well they'll stay. For those thinking about it, I tried buying a thicker o ring hoping to make the fit a little more secure (1/2" id & 3/32 wide) and the fit was too tight. The first two pictures I attached are the Auxito bulbs and the second set of pictures are the Alla leds. Read more

These are really bright backup lights but you need to buy (3) sets if you want to make it thru the year. My experience buying these, they are great and bright but last about 3-4 months which doesn't really make sense since they are only (on) a few minutes a quarter. Very bright tho. Not sure but probably a CHINA MADE product which suck and don't last long. I gave this a 1 start. I will say a 5 star for the brightness but 1 star for how long they last and the cost. If they were $8 a pair, I'd probably would stock them. I'm in the country and need the light for backing up. Factory lighting is no bueno. I'm dumb because I love the brightness but this is my 3rd pair. Read more
