Purchased the Avantree Repose "sleep" earbuds. I would like to first say the customer service with this company is beyond GREAT! Avantree gets a 10+. My first pair had a problem where the BT kept shutting off. I did what troubleshooting there was and contacted company NOT Amazon. Avantree immediately created a ticket and sent me out a replacement pair within 3 days. Within a day after my replacements arrived Avantree C.S. sent me a shipping label to return the defective pair. The battery life is phenomenal on the Sleep buds! I use my cell to stream programs when retiring for the night. The earbuds are super comfortable and very soft silicone that fits snug in the ear. The earbuds are very tiny much smaller than the HEARPROTEK sleep buds which I now retired. In the past I had never found a BT sleep bud that was comfortable for side sleepers and where battery didn't last more than 4 hrs. I often will wake up in the middle of the night and use my cell to stream a program so I can go back to sleep. Because these sleep BT have such a great battery life you don't have to worry about the battery draining after 4 hrs. What most impresses me is they are super comfortable for SIDE sleepers. The battery life is beyond any BT I have ever used - more than 24hr charge time I have seen so far. I like them also for listening to music or podcast...all works well! These ear buds are easy to use, have decent sound quality and are reasonably comfortable for sleeping. Unlike some other commenters, I do not find them to be all that small (I was hoping they would be smaller than they are), but I do have very small ears. I like the soft, flexible neck piece to which the ear buds are attached - my long hair occasionally gets tangle with it, but that is a minor inconvenience compared to the convenience of easily keeping track of the ear buds. The ear buds themselves are very soft and flexible. These are definitely a bargain for the price. 8 months later- all the above is still true, but they have not been as sturdy as I would have hoped. I have smaller ears and have not found earbuds that stay in place for long even when I am awake. These however fit and are small enough to "tuck" into my ears such that sleeping on my side is still comfortable. And if I find the headphone on the side of my head on the pillow is annoying me (it never hurts), I can just pull it out, keeping the other one in, and not worry about doing anything with the removed earbud as it's attached to the neck piece. I don't shift around a lot while I sleep, more while falling asleep and they have never come out then or while sleeping. The neck piece does shift around sometimes, but never enough to disrupt the earbuds or wake me up. I never wake up with my ears hurting and when I have worn them while awake, they stay in without me constantly having to push them back into place, and they don't begin hurting after wearing them. They definitely get as close to "not notice I have them in" as I think is possible. I noticed the cords or neck piece more than the earbuds themselves. Which if I do, isn't much. I can't really speak to sound quality as I listen to audiobooks, but even when using only one earbud, I have never had to max the volume to hear my books. I have had them for 9 months and use them a couple times a week. I have had no problems with them and they work just as good as when I got them. I can't recommend these enough. (I first tried the soft headbands with the headphones built in. After having three that all broke after very little use, I gave up on them. I am so glad I eventually found these.) Read more
Easy to connect and use, comfortable to sleep with (though if you're a restless sleeper it can sometimes shift to one side or fall off). Unfortunately less than a month in the left earbud is already going out and the sound has become quiet and slightly staticky on that side. I was impressed with these earbuds for a while. They blocked out external sound, had good audio and were comfortable for me. I was concerned that the buds are so small they are impossible to remove without pulling on the wires. Although I was as careful as possible, the right earbud stopped producing audio after only 3 months. Edit: A thorough cleaning fixed the issue and I have been using them nightly for months.
