This is a very well made and easy to store, carry, and use jump starter and back up power kit that’s packed with a lot of nice features. It comes in a very nice semi-hard shell storage case that contains everything included. It’s easy to set up and use and, though the jumper cables aren’t very long, the entire unit is small and lightweight enough to set right near the battery you’re jumping. It also comes with a cigarette lighter adapter that plugs into the DC output port and a couple of built-in USB outlets. The lighting function is another nice touch that can be accessed by long pressing the power button after turning it on. It has a very impressive 6000 peak amps of cranking power so it can jump start nearly anything you need to get going again. For perspective, I have an 8 year old Dewalt jump box that’s at least three times the size and weight of this and it only puts out 1600 peak cranking amps…battery technology has come a long way. This is an extremely well made and versatile jump box/power bank with a lot of available power and it’s easy to use and sells for a very fair price compared to many like it. Solid five stars. I recently acquired the AVAPOW 6000A Car Battery Jump Starter, and while I haven't had the need to actually put it to the test yet, I'd like to share my initial impressions of this product. The specifications tout its capability to jump start all gas engines and even engines up to 12L diesel, which is quite impressive (but what do I really know?). A nice feature is the built-in LED bright light, which appears to be handy for nighttime emergencies or low-light situations. This could prove incredibly useful in case of emergencies, especially if I find myself stranded on the road with a dead battery during the night. The packaging of the product is professional and it seem like a quality purchase right out of the box. Additionally, the overall build of the jump starter feels sturdy and durable, suggesting that it could withstand the rigors of being stored in my trunk without any issues. It's important to note that I haven't had the chance to actually test the jump starter in a real-life situation, as my battery hasn't died yet. The intention behind this purchase was to have a safety net in case such an event does occur. As much as I hope not to require its services, having the AVAPOW 6000A in my trunk does provide a sense of reassurance during my travels. Updated review several months after receiving this gem: When I write reviews, I feel the onus is on me to amend the initial review by giving a brief blurb months after I received the item and posted my initial review about it. I felt it was especially important to update this particular item, because it has SAVED MY TUSH more times than I can count! I'm going to try and make this short & sweet but yeah right 😏 I guess I upset the guy who patrols my complex, because he and his scummy business partner at the local tow yard have been finding every single place -both in and outside the confines of my condo complex- and have made up some erroneous reason for towing my car then charging me hundreds each time I cry and beg on my hands & knees to please return my car. It's been a nightmare. It's illegal and it's ruining me. ANYWAY, I found the only way I can actually sleep at night instead of staying up all night worrying about how I'm going to afford the next tow, Is to SLEEP in my car once I park it at a dear friend's work. I'm telling you, this whole situation is nuts. I will wake up in my car to my 5:15 am alarm to find my car battery has died AGAIN. I honestly don't even know what I would do without this jump starter. The first six times I used it just this month it has worked in record time- this thing gets you jumped SO FAST. This morning, my car couldn't respond at all when I connected it to my car battery. LITERALLY NO RESPONSE 😢 THEN divine intervention, i tell ya: A thick piece of paper fell onto my lap with a few very important key points about this jump starter: if your car isn't responding with the normal jump, there's a small red button that will FORCE your car battery to get her butt moving!!! This is a feature I haven't seen in the millions of jump starters I have given as gifts or have kept for myself. THIS JUMP STARTER IS HEAVEN. The "force" button got my super dead and super UNRESPONSIVE car up and moving around within less than a minute. I will never EVER use any other car jump start contraption again! From the bottom of my sad little heart: I rep this item TO THE FULLEST. I can'ts even tell you how absolutely reliable this thing is. Do yourself AND every person you 2truly care care about one of these!!! Initial review several months ago: In addition to this gentle giant, we have three additional power bank- jump starter contraptions floating around my immediate family. I will tell you, THIS is so much more convenient, user-friendly, and the jumper cables are a decent size so they are a big enough size to make using them MUCH easier than the competitors' jumper cables, but they are also really easy to keep stored along with the mobile power bank in their handy dandy protective case. Amongst the jump stater-power bank kits, this one is absolutely my favorite. Many of these kits come with pretty convenient add-ons. For example, the first one I ever purchased was not only a power bank that came with jumper cables, it was also an excellent air compressor that came with several attachments so I could put air in my tires after checking how full (or empty) each of my tires were. This one was great. However, still doesn't compare to the one in this listing because it had teeny tiny Zoolander-approved jumper cables that are a joke to use. Yes, they absolutely work great, but there's just no way to avoid looking like a total idiot using these baby cables & clamps. This guy is tried and true: my mom's car wouldn't start and after I finally convinced her to let me fix the issue rather than waste a AAA call, this guy took MAYBE three whole minutes to jump start her battery and get her on the road to go to work. Impressive. Everyone should have one and be well-versed in how to use it successfully. Young women especially should be gifted one of these or invest in one of their own.
