when we got the bed it was missing 2 of the side pieces. amazon support was very helpful and got me a replacement and scheduled a return. however after receiving the 2nd bed frame and taking it out of the box they were 2 completely different beds, with different colors and parts, the directions also were not the same. a lot of the screw holes didn’t line up. lastly the wood was splintered in several places. it was quite heavy but nothing 2 people can’t handle. it did fit my mattress quite well the side did bow out slightly. I was getting tired of my old squeaky bed that sounded like it was about to fall apart every time I moved. It was not exactly helping me sleep better either. So I decided to grab this new upholstered bed frame to clean things up a bit. I just wanted something sturdy and easy to set up without a whole toolbox. This one actually checked all the boxes. The frame feels solid once it is together. No wobbling or weird noises which is already a win. The headboard looks nice and can adjust, so I got it to fit right with my mattress. The fabric feels smooth and gives the room a little style without going overboard. It makes my space look more put-together than I really am. I like that I do not need a box spring since it already has wooden slats. They hold up well and keep the mattress from sliding around. Putting it together was not bad at all — just a few parts and clear instructions. I did it by myself in under an hour which shocked me. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use. There are a couple small cons though. The headboard could be a little taller for thicker mattresses and the slats could use stronger tape to hold them in place while building.
