The lace is very soft and doesn't feel scratchy or cheap. I got the XXL and it's a pretty tight fit for 38DD but doable. The bra isn't full coverage or very supportive but that's to be expected with this style. I love the robe, it's not truly kimono style but it makes me feel elegant when swanning around the house. The lace feels durable and doesn't tear easily. The one thing I wish I had noticed before ordering is that the bottom is an open style, and it's only mentioned in text on a single listing photo and not anywhere in the description. This is our third Avidlove lingerie outift and like all the others this one is soft and not scratchy. So you can take your time and wear the outfit for as long as you care to. What I really like about this outfit is that it is a classic kind of sexy outfit with normal coverage top and bottom. The sheer Kimono Robe is see through and just absolutely perfect. It has small flowers and then the rest of the robe is sheer see through and it cast a green silhouette on your skin and body the way fishnet stockings or panty hose do. So this is one of those sneaky sexy lingerie outfits because while it is a classic 3 piece bra and panty outfit the panties are actually made by combining two halves so there is a sizable opening right down the middle. So you can leave these on and never have to take them off while being intimate. I would not call these crotchless but that area can be pulled apart if you know what I mean. I have fair skin and dark brunette hair and the blue green (teal) color looks great against my skin color but that is the thing with teal. I think it would look great with any skin type or hair color. I have already used this and washed it once and the bleed only a little bit mostly from the kimono robe. So after a wash or two you shouldn't have to worry about the color much. I was also careful to hand wash this one in cold water and hang dried it.
