I am 5'7" and right now weigh 180 pounds though I am normally closer to 170. I bought an XL in this skirt and I absolutely LOVE the way it fits. I have very fit and muscular legs, am curvy but not squishy, and have not much of a bum, kind a flat pancake butt, but this skirt actually looks good by being tight enough and short enough that it follows the curves of my upper legs making it look like I have more in the booty department than I really do. I wore it with a sweater one time and a babydoll t-shirt another time and there is something about the ruched skirts that just make everything look nicer! I also like that when I am wearing this, I pretty much forget it is there because it is really comfortable. No pinching, rolling up or down, or binding anywhere and it is made better than I thought it would be for the price making it an absolutely great value for you dollar. I already got another one in Burgundy because I liked it so much and because I liked how they look, As a disabled person who has to wear compression tights every single day it was really nice to just have some pizzaz in what I wore without discomfort or it looking odd with having those tights on - it makes it look like an intentional outfit! I will say that it is really short so if you are not comfortable wearing really short things or are not comfortable with your legs showing it might not be something you would like. At my height I didn't feel like it was too short, it felt just right and I had intentionally wanted something tight and short to counterbalance a larger sweater I wear with it and the tights under it. It’s fine, but it seems to be a little lower quality than a similar skirt from another brand. This is most apparent when looking at the quality of the different fabrics used as well as the means of stitching the outer and inner layers together. It’s not bad, it’s just not quite as nice as I expected. The size was true to my expectations - waist fit as expected based on the product description and the length is appropriate. I’d say it’s nearly not bodycon, but this could be my impression based on the size I picked - if in doubt consider sizing down for more bodycon feel and sizing regular for a somewhat more relaxed fit.
