This product is incredibly easy to hook up to a PS5, you do need to also plug it in, so keep that in mind. But once you have it set up it'll just...go. It has a pretty solid transfer speed for the size of most games. So Pros It will probably fit wherever you have your console It looks cool Excellent storage Cons Its incredibly loud. I have a Keurig and if you're familiar with the single cup setting, this hard drive sounds like I'm making tea in the next room. The power light doesn't appear to shut off or stabilize while the device is in use, leading to a piercing white, miniature strobe for the duration. I can tell that the hard drive is quick; the data transferred much faster than my previous experience with the PS4. Bought this to expand on the storage for my new PS5. Worked good out of the box and I was able to transfer over the games I had already downloaded without issue. Within 24 hours of set up the HDD had failed and the PS5 couldn't repair or format the drive. HDD also developed a noticable tick.
