This actually works!! I have very thick, dark hair and well, I'm not lucky enough to have fine hair on my upper lip. I first noticed the lovely moustache on my upper lip when I was in my early 20s. I tried to ignore it but it started bugging me so I started using a little electronic shaver but wasn't satisfied with the result. It was then that I decided to try waxing. And while waxing got the job done, it was messy and I just couldn't get used to the pain that comes with ripping the wax off your face (no matter how fast you do it.) I was kind of at a loss of what to do. I started looking at hair removal creams. After carefully reading the reviews for several hair removal creams, I chose this one. The first couple of times I used this I didn't use enough cream to really remove the hair, and then like an idiot I applied more right afterwards in hopes it would work. I wasn't surprised when I got a slight chemical burn. And no, I didn't leave it on for more 8 minutes. Having learned my lesson, the next go around, I applied a thick layer of cream to my upper lip and waited 4-6 minutes, until I felt a slight tingling sensation and gently wiped it off. SUCCESS!! I was thrilled. Since then, It's worked great. And whenever I have a few stubborn hairs that don't come off, I use my tweezers. If you have very thick, dark hair like me you might want to try leaving the cream on for 4-6 minutes. Whatever works best for you. I bought this product based on the good reviews. Even so, I was not expecting it to work as well as it did! First I’d like to start off by saying that my skin around my bikini area is incredibly sensitive. I was worried that it wasn’t working once I applied the lotion because I didn’t feel a tingly sensation or anything. I Left it on for 4-5 minutes. When I wiped it off, every single hair was gone and I was left with completely smooth skin. There was no irritation, redness, burning, itching, nothing!!! I am so thrilled to have found this product! This is hands down the best hair removal creme I've ever used.. no burns, no irritation and the smell ain't that strong either...which is a double plus.. all those reasons are deserving of 5 stars... However its kind of hard to swallow spending 8+ bucks for 4.2 fl. oz when you can get 13.7 fl.oz of other brands for the same price. Read more
Worked perfectly and efficiently to make skin very soft! It says to apply a thick coat but it worked pretty well with a fairly thin one aswell. I wouldn’t say I have sensitive skin but it did leave my skin very slightly burning and a more apparent itching sensation on the applied area. So plus side: smell doesn't stink like urine. It's more of a chemical smell. Buuut, I have used hair removal creams off and on for 10 years (mostly Veet), worst reaction was a rash on sensitive areas. But this literally burned a hole in my skin. There was no break in the skin before I applied. I left it on for 8 minutes, the max recommended time. When tested at less time, it was not removing my hair, so I left it longer. After removing the cream and washing, this area blistered and I ended up with this tiny hole in my arm. I have medium coarse hair, depending on the area. My skin is "normal"; I hardly have sensitivity reactions but it has happened before. It has been a few years since I've used hair removal creams, but simultaneously using Veet sensitive formula on the other arm had no complications. So besides the bad reaction I had, you do not get much product. I got a leg and an arm out of the tube. The best body hair remover!!!!! I will never purchase Nair again. The hair came off quickly and easily. There is barely a smell when u compare it to Nair. I did a full Brazilian on my lady parts and the hair came off soooo easily. I would not recommend putting on your inner lips. That area was a little too sensitive afterwards but, everything came out smooth. I wish they would make a bigger bottle. Read more
Bought this awhile ago and finally got around to trying it. It removed the hair on my legs well enough in 4 minutes, so a definite time saver over shaving. It does have a strong sulfur smell but I’ve had the sealed tube for several months so perhaps it’s settled or gone off in some way, I will repurchase and see if a new tube has the same odor. I expect the smell will dissipate after an hour or two. Didn’t bother my skin aside from right behind my knees-I feel a mild burning even after thoroughly washing it off, but my skin is extremely sensitive, especially in the ‘knee-pit’ area so I can’t say if that’s typical or just me. It is starting to go away after about half an hour and an application of a tea tree salve I make that soothes almost any weird skin issue. Overall I think I’ll definitely use this again on my calves but might avoid going higher on the leg. Good quick solution when there’s not time for a proper shave but you’re entering Sasquatch territory. Read more
