This is a great bag for overnight or a personal item traveling. It’s probably only worth the money for the style and aesthetic. The external pocket is very small and flat (maybe just keys or a charger or I popped receipts in there). The internal organization is helpful, place for your laptop and all the essentials. Pros: Well made, Love the leather/ fabric combo and trolley sleeve, handles large enough for me to work as a shoulder bag if needed, outside pocket has zipper (slash pockets that are open - things slip out especially when used as a under seat bag on a plane laying down) , place for a laptop ok but a little tight, ( ipad mini and file folder fit nicely but regular size file folder is a tight fit . Key fob strap (use it for car keys or “air tag” ) lots of extra pockets. Price point was better than other high end comparable units that were slightly larger. I felt the size was good for me but that is really not a ranking item. Everyone has different needs as far as size. Cons & suggestions : ( reason for 4 out of 5 stars) Updated: 1/8/2026= Passport wallet 9” tall fits down in very snug. Opted to get a new one 5”x8” . No double zipper on laptop pocket, lighter color lining to see all the way down ( the darker grey on the black one is dark and hard to see when lights are out on the plane ) , no water bottle sleeve at end inside ( I carry a very slim thermal one as well as a collapsible non thermal) , I mentioned the key fob strap was great but a small pocket right under it would be a real plus. what ever you have attached to it goes right to the bottom. I wonder if any one single pocket could be made RFID ? , Don’t know if a dedicated power bank and connection cord could be added. Game changer. I use this as a personal item when i fly. I have used a backpack, an oversized purse, a small duffel bag, etc. and this beats them all! It fits perfectly under the seat and fits everything I need for a long or short flight. Easy to clean the outside, strong and well made. Not buckle or overwhelming. Solidly made and a better design than anything else I could find after exhaustive shopping which was why I bought it, but deficient in a few details that will sound picayune until you've taken it on a few overseas trips. 1, the laptop pocket only has one zip. For convenience sake, when you're bent over in your airplane seat fumbling around, two would be much more user friendly. There are two on the main pocket, for example. Why not both? 2, the tab on the zipper for the little front pocket is too tiny and tends to sandwich itself in the crack. Very hard to grasp or even see when you're trying to open and close that pocket. 3, the material is very heavy. So far, I love the bag. I have not left on the trip yet; we will see if it gets through the bag checkers. I cannot over pack this bag. It has good pockets inside and out for organizing my travel essentials. I love the light gray color with the black straps and the additional padded shoulder strap. I would like a zipper on the bottom of the trolley sleeve. For some reason the trolley sleeve gets stuck on the suitcase’s retracting handle; I wish it was a little wider. Read more

Fits what I need with quick and easy access to laptops, tech gear, and personal items. 16" MacBook Pro is a tight squeeze in the laptop compartment but zipper will close. Love the trolley sleeve - fits over the suitcase handle even when the bag was packed full. Quality of construction and materials is good. The color was a little disappointing as it is noticeably different from Away's hard side rolling luggage in the same Cloud Gray, likely due to the difference in materials. Looks good by itself though and makes a good work tote and gym bag. Read more
