The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this dash cam for a few weeks now and I’m super impressed with the quality. The video is crisp, even at night, and the wide-angle lens captures everything in front of the car. Setup was straightforward, and the app connection makes it easy to review or download footage when needed. One of the best features is the parking mode — it gives me peace of mind knowing the camera keeps recording even when I’m not in the car. The build feels solid and durable, and the suction mount holds firmly in place without shaking or falling. Overall, this dash cam is a great investment for anyone who drives regularly. It’s already helped me clarify a near-miss incident, and I’m glad I had it recording. Highly recommend! Read more

This dash cam is absolutely worth every penny! The 4K front and 1080p rear cameras deliver crystal-clear footage, day or night, thanks to the superb night vision. I love the voice control feature—it makes operating it while driving so much safer. The ADAS driving assist and parking monitor are game-changers, giving me extra confidence on the road. Plus, the G-sensor ensures all critical moments are saved automatically. Easy to install and packed with premium features—this is hands-down the best dash cam I’ve owned! Read more

I gave this 4 stars to be fair, because I was unable to complete the setup process and I was too impatient to try a variety of methods. I didn't want to spend hours troubleshooting. So part of my issues might be user error, part of it might be because I use a Mac, not a PC. Why did I want this camera? I have an old car that pre-dates any kind of dash cam or anything besides a CD player, so I wanted to try a simple dash cam that could run on the power from the cigarette lighter on a low-tech car. This one seemed like a good idea for a good price. There's a booklet of instructions, though it's a lot to read through and figure out. I was hoping for an easy setup that didn't take a lot of reading and trial and error. However, after charging it with the USB cable, I couldn't test the camera. You get a message on the camera screen that says you need to install the firmware first. It tells you to remove the memory card (which is really tiny) and insert it in your computer, then go to the company website and download the software, unzip the files onto your computer, and transfer them onto the micro card. I was unable to do this because my computer doesn't have a card slot, although I do have an external card adapter with different card slots on it. But none of the slots in my adapter were small enough for this card. So then I tried connecting the camera directly to my computer, with the card still inside the camera. The camera made a sound, it clearly recognized that it was connected to a power source. But I have a Mac, so the camera/card didn't mount on my desktop. No matter what I do, I don't think it's going to get recognized by my computer. This might also happen if I was able to mount this card in a card adapter, too. The card needs to be recognized by the Mac, and it's probably not formatted for a Mac. So then I went to the AZDOME website. I decided that I'd download the firmware anyway, and then try to figure out later how to get the software onto the micro card. Maybe I need to buy a different card adapter, maybe I can figure out how to do it over Wi-Fi or something...but when I went to the website to download the software for the M17, it showed a message that says "This Connection is Not Secure...." etc. So I decided not to proceed, especially since I can't install it right now, anyway. You get everything you need in the box to set up the camera: the mounts, a cable to connect the rear camera if you want to use that, the charging cable for inside the car, etc. From what I can see through the camera (behind the message that says I need to install the firmware), the video image looks pretty clear. The only thing you don't get is a card that's formatted and ready to go. I will update my review later if I can figure out how to get the firmware onto the card (it seems to me that it should have been preinstalled, so we don't have to go through this hassle). You might not have these issues if you use a Windows PC computer and/or an Android phone, but if you're a Mac/iPhone user, you will probably hit the same roadblocks that I did. Read more

Was almost a 2 star, but bumped it up one for the price because I feel it's fair for what you get. First miss was the instructions. Not very clear or informative. The size of the screen is a little too small as well, IMO. Camera is just ok. Clear enough to see an event but doubtful I could get a plate number in most cases. With the camera level, can't get level image because lens doesn't appear "rotate-able". Software is clunky. Having to turn off mobile data on my phone to connect to it is just ridiculous. Once in it's just not user friendly. Lots of little things like: hit button to turn image off while driving and when you go into reverse the backup image comes on Sweet! But go back to drive and image stays on instead of turning back off. Image view/playback is frustrating. Try to zoom image with 2 fingers and the image might fast forward or change brightness... unusable except to just watch a stock clip. If it stays installed it will mostly be because my car didn't have a backup camera before. "You get what you pay for," might apply here. I think we might still be a bit away from finding a decent "cheaper" dash cam to buy. Unfortunately, this one isn't it. Read more
