This dash cam was easy to set up and the video quality looks really clear, both front and back. I like that it came with a memory card and starts recording automatically, so I don’t have to think about it. The app works well, but you do need to connect your phone to the dashcam’s WiFi first before you can view or download videos. First, I should state that I selected theAZDOME M300S Front and Rear Dash Cam because it has no screen. IMHO, another screen is just another distraction. If I need to view any footage I can use the app or put the micro SD Car in my PC. I Just received the dash cam and the OBD-II power cable. Having just watched some install vids on YT, I have questions for which I'm having difficulty finding answers. After the YT vids it appears the rear camera I received is VERY much smaller than the one I saw in the vids. The rear camera in the vids looked like a smaller version of the front camera. The one I received looks like a tiny reverse backup camera with only a fragile looking mount. I had to order an additional rear camera mount so I can mount it on the rear window of my SUV. I also had to order the AZDOME OBD-II power cable as my vehicle does not have an available cigarette lighter style power port and I did not want to mess with the fusebox power hookup. I found what appear to be AZDOME system files on the supplied 64GB Micro SD Card. The instructions insist I should format that card which will delete those files. Further periodic formatting of the card is recommended. I am formatting the 64GB card to ExFat as instructed. I jist hope the files on the card are not necessary as formatting will delete everything. Finally, there is my question about the voice control. I'm hoping this is built in as there is no separate microphone. I may append this review after I receive the rear camera mount, complete the install and actually use the dash camera. Read more

The picture on this item is very good in day/night while driving, in my own case I use an android galaxy s23 ultra and the Azdome app works fine on my end, the included memory card is a basic microSD and seems fine after some use and formatting as instructed, cables are plenty long and for a basic setup this item functions, for reference the interior of a 2013 prius is what I'm saying is enough. In terms of ease of use this device after setup works exactly as intended in my opinion. As for the Wifi connectivity my phone seems stable and even tries to force me to connect to it over home wifi upon returning home. I really like that you can preview videos on the app for ease of access as well as download videos incase of emergency or just to show to friends and family something crazy. Read more
