These earplugs are excellent! Don't let the lower rating of 25 dB scare you off; their comfort ensures folks use them all the time, not just after a sound hurts their ears. The seal is better than I was expecting, and they are easier to install compared to foam earplugs. I use these on the motorcycle to block out the wind noise that can leave my ears ringing. And I use them in the shop when I'm using a grinder. And every morning when my wife releases her kennel of dogs ! Ahhh ... peace and quiet. You can pull them off the string if that's your preference and you can put them back on the string later. The media could not be loaded. Just received this box and opened one pack to try them out. Inside the box is a large ziplock bag containing 55 individually packaged ear plugs. I've used a few different types of ear plugs, mainly for music related applications. These seem fine and are exactly what I expected. They should do fine for taking the edge off things in loud environments. I've been wearing a pair for a while now and they're comfortable.
