Very cute duckie. Its a nice size for toddler hands to hold (a big duckie for a 2-3 year old toddler). The button on the back is prominent and easy for toddler to press, although be had to press it down 2-3 times before he pressed it down far enough to turn it on (parents wont have a problem pressing the button it is easy enough). It floats in the water and sprays a water fountain from the head. Overall it is a wonderful toy that provided enjoyment for an entire bath cleaning. However im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because by the end of a 20 minute bath, the fountain of water coming out was less strong than when it started, despite using new brand name batteries. My kids absolutely love this little duck bath toy and now they actually look forward to bath time. The sprinkler feature is so fun, it sprays just enough to keep them entertained. I’ve gone through my fair share of battery-operated bath toys for my kids, and they almost always suffer the same fate: water eventually leaks into the battery compartment and kills the motor. Because of that history, I’m always a bit skeptical, but we will see how this Duck Sprinkler Fountain holds up over the long term. The Design: The battery compartment is located on the underside of the duck and requires 3 AA batteries. One thing I immediately appreciated is the placement of the power button. It has an on/off button right on the top of the head, which is much more convenient than the awkward switches you often find hidden on the bottom of these types of toys. The mechanics are simple but effective. It sucks water up from the bottom and sprays it out of the top. This creates a fun fountain effect that actually makes the duck spin around in the water. My son likes being able to turn it on and off himself. Durability: We have been using this for 3 weeks now, and it has successfully survived many baths without any signs of water intrusion or slowing down. It feels sturdier than some of our previous toys, but as with all battery-powered water toys, the real test is time. This toy is fantastic and adorable! We had been looking for bath toys that work well and keep the kids entertained. We have a few wind-up toys but when they hit the water they aren’t as strong and barely work. This toy is made for bath time! My kids love it so much that they bring it out of the bath and play with it in the living room. Sturdy little toy with a strong motor. I love that the duck is not very big as it doesn’t take up much real estate in the tub. The water sprays and splashes but not so high that it’s making a mess or scaring the baby. It was the perfect spray for both our 9 month old and 3 year old. They were cracking up so much. I wish we had this for our older kids when they were little. Such a great deal for hours of entertainment. Very happy and it’s even super cute when not in use. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I love the overall toy, but I do feel like $15 is a bit expensive for what it does. It is a bigger size than I expected, which is a good thing. I think it is really cute and a really fun toy for bath and the water table. I love the bright colors. I had some trouble initially getting it to work, but I think it was due to the batteries. It does take AAA batteries. It seems to dry off easily. Read more
