This hat is just what my grand daughter needs for the sun in Texas. She has fair skin and strawberry blonde hair so the wide brim covers her from the sun. HUGE on my 1 month old. Shes maaaaybe 8 lbs by now and the hats are humungous on her. I do have to keep fixing it so it’s not covering her face too much so she can breathe but I try to just keep my hand on it (so the hat rim is between my hand and her back) to keep it from dropping forward. She will grow into it so I’m not too worried. I ordered these after we went to the splash pad— her and I both got burned while sitting in the shade the ENTIRE time, I felt so bad and ordered these right away. Ordered a 2 pack so I could keep one in the diaper bag just in case we need it. I fold it into thirds then wrap the neck string around it to keep it stored nicely in there. A bit big. I bought the 0-6 month and my baby is 3 months old. They are very roomy still. They will definitely fit her when shes 6 months. I just have to keep adjusting now. We had our baby in July and I really wanted to make sure she was blocked from the sun. I found this hat and not only is it cute but you get more bank for your buck, meaning I’m really happy with the quality. My baby was only a few weeks old when we went out on a boat and though it was a little big it covered the back of her neck which is what my goal was. She didn’t seem to mind it at all and actually seemed quite comfortable wearing it. Even fell asleep with it on. I used the adjustable string so it wouldn’t fly off in the wind and it didn’t seem to move at all. I liked the pattern especially for summer sun hat.
