I bought this as a gift for a new born. The towel was an original. The mom who also has a two year old didn't have a hooded towel so it was a unique gift. We also live near a beach so it will be good to introduce her new child to the ocean and keep him warm and dry. The towel is soft, absorbent and cute too! I had already purchased a towel from this seller and I purchased one extra one because I liked the quality of my first purchase. I found a nice surprise in the box this time. It came with a cute and tiny rubber ducky toy. Kind of confused why my first package did not have the rubber ducky surprise in it like it did in this one? The previous one was same line just a dog.
