I was hesitant to spend $150 on a play mat, but this one is honestly worth it. It’s perfect if you don’t have carpet because it adds a really soft, cushioned space for things like floor play or tummy time, and it honestly works great as a rug too. The mat is thick, comfortable to sit or lay on, and the color was exactly what I was looking for. It blends into the living room nicely instead of looking like a typical kids’ play mat. I ordered the 79x118 size and it fits our living room perfectly. It also came out of the box and laid completely flat right away, which was a huge plus. Another thing I really like is that it’s vacuum friendly, so it’s easy to keep clean and maintain. It comes squished down into a tight bundle. When you unwrap it they. give instructions for steaming to make it flat - but we just laid it on the floor and after 3 days it looked flat and smooth and all the wrinkles and creases were gone. the baby LOVED it! Lays down - put the face against the soft material - a nice thick foam for cushioning when she falls over and hits her head there are no tears - I fell asleep on it...- :). This would be a great asset for camping - like a mat to put inside the tent under sleeping bags for an extra layer of cushion and warmth. I love it - would buy again. the size is perfect - the thickness is impressive and better than expected. the no slip backing is appreciated and washable with a damp rag. It’s incredibly spacious, giving my baby plenty of room to roll from one end to the other without feeling restricted. The thickness and softness are also a game-changer. It provides great cushioning for the baby, and it’s surprisingly comfortable for parents and caregivers too. No more numb bottoms during playtime! We fell in love with it right away. One small concern we noticed was the label stating “do not use in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens.” It was a bit confusing because the product photos on their website show babies crawling and playing on it. Not a deal breaker, but something worth pointing out for clarity. Other than that minor mismatch, this mat has been a fantastic purchase. It’s comfortable, spacious, and baby-approved—highly recommended! UPDATE: Still a Lifesaver! Now that our little one is officially on the move—rolling, sitting up, and even attempting to crawl—this mat has become even more essential. Huge fan of this play mat!! Within one week of putting it down, my 5-month-old was rolling smoothly in both directions and learning how to pivot on the floor. He barely tolerated floor time, including tummy time, before, but this mat is so plush, thick and soft, that he seems much more comfortable now. It is easy to clean and the color looks just like the photo. I will say that 50x50 is smaller than it seemed in my head, so consider double-checking the measurements if the size really matters to you, but the fit is great for our small space. Read more
I absolutely love this play mat! The thickness is perfect,soft enough to cushion falls but still firm and supportive for tummy time, sitting, and crawling. My baby spends a lot of time on it, and I feel much better knowing he is protected from the hard floor. The material feels very high quality, super soft to the touch, and gentle on baby’s skin. Very pleased with this mat. I like that it is firm but also cushioned enough that baby can tip over and be safe, allowing for babys mobility to develop. Non slip bottom to keep in place on the floor.
