This couldn't have come at a better time! I have a teething baby right now and he really enjoys this one. He reaches for it more often than not--it's become a favorite for sure. Not only is it super cute, but it's also really well made! It seems very durable--which is needed with a teething baby. They can be tough on them. The silicone feels soft and flexible. Each arm and the stem have different textures which is great for soothing sore gums and providing oral stimulation. The rattler inside of it is made up of rainbow color beads, which seems to really grab his attention--he loves that it makes a sound. The teether itself is a cute avocado--dark green on the outer body and light green in the middle. The facial expression makes it even better. It's the perfect size for little hands to hold and the open belly part makes it easier for them to grasp. It's not too bulky! I do recommend washing/sanitizing it before giving it to your baby! I washed it with warm, soapy water easily and it dried super quickly. The rattler ring comes out to make it even easier to wash all the parts. Since it's made up of food grade silicone, it's dishwasher safe or safe to boil for sanitization. I highly recommend this teether! It's safe, functional and it's been a total hit with my baby. This little avocado teether is seriously adorable and actually really practical. It adds a fun little sound for the baby, but you can take it out when it’s time to clean or sanitize the teether. Just make sure you remove the rattle before boiling or microwaving it. You can even pop the teether in the freezer once the baby is a bit older and really starting to cut teeth, which helps give extra relief. My nephew will have so much fun with this. He's not here yet but as he grows he will be able to use this to soothe his gums and practice his hand and eye coordination. I love the shape and size of the rattle. It's such a unique gift that will introduce veggies and fruit by us telling him the names of them. It's just perfect for little hands. There was no chemical smell when I opened it. It has the perfect weight and the texture of the silicone will keep any baby active. The silicone is durable and will hold on past his stage of teething and I'm sure it may be his favorite toy. Worth the money and I'm going to see if I can find other veggies to add with it. Read more

This teething rattle is so cute! I love the overall design. The avocado part is silicone and dishwasher safe. The inner ring with the balls that make it a rattle is easily removable AND easy to put back. I was concerned that taking that piece in and out was going to be difficult, but glad that was not the case. I will hand-wash the rattle part in the sink. The avocado part is thick with the little arms and top stem making for interesting chewable areas. The hole in the middle makes the rattle/teether easy to hold. This avocado teething toy is adorable and perfectly sized for babies 0–6 months. The avocado shape is cute and fun and the textures are great for soothing sore gums. The size is ideal for tiny hands just learning to grasp objects. A great feature of this design is that the center ring is removable. This is extremely helpful for thorough cleaning, as it prevents any gunk from getting trapped in the crevices between the ring and the main body. The only issue I had with it is that the silicone has a fairly strong factory/plastic smell right out of the packaging. It’s a common issue with some silicone toys, but it definitely needs to be addressed before use. I highly recommend washing it well with warm, soapy water before giving it to your baby. Since it's food-grade silicone, you can also boil it for 5 minutes or put it in the dishwasher for a more intense sanitize. 4 month old baby loveeees this, it’s so cute! He really enjoys teething on it especially with the different textures on his gums, and it’s really easy for him to hold. He found it a lot more entertaining than I thought he would. The rubber is thick and sturdy so I’m not worried about it breaking.
