We recently tried the Babyvue Wireless Baby Car Monitor, and it has been a game changer for driving with our infant. First, we love that it’s fully wireless. We hate the clutter of cords across the seats or the dashboard. We also appreciate the 2.4G point-to-point encryption used for the connection, as it makes us feel secure and safe while driving. The 5.2” 1080P IPS screen is very clear. During the daytime, even in direct sunlight, we have no issues with the clarity of the screen. We also like that we can adjust the brightness. I no longer have to turn around and check on my infant because I can see everything I need on the screen. The night vision is perfect. The infrared turns on automatically in low light, and it does not disturb our sleeping infant. We can see everything clearly, even in the dark, which has made driving at night so much easier. As they advertise, it only takes two steps to install. No tools or wiring are required. It was simple to install in our SUV and looks great. We also like that it has smart power management that starts and stops with your vehicle, and the battery should last for up to 30 days on a single charge. So far this seems accurate. We have not had to charge it yet. Another feature we like is the automatic screen sleep. It eliminates the distraction and allows you to quickly glance at the screen to check on your infant. I like that this eliminates all the heavy wire use of the other cameras out there, but don't think you have zero wires with this one. You may not have wires on the camera itself but there is still a wire hook up on the monitor. I wish I could find one where it had absolutely no wires. Read more

Nice, easy to set up baby camera for the car. The video quality is great, and so is the night vision on it. Overall, this seems like a really nice quality piece and good value. It was easy to mount, and it was up and running in my wife's car within a few minutes. She was happy as the mirror never really worked great. We still left that as our kid likes to look at us (we think anyway), but this is our primary way to look at them. This is a portable backseat monitoring system with a large 5.2" display, 1080P camera, infrared night vision, and two mounting options to clip-on or use the strap. It hooks up easily on the back of the seat and hooks up through a cable so there’s no worry about not being able to hook up to Wi-Fi. The image is clear during daytime and nighttime, and there is a sleep screen. This Babyvue Wireless Camera is perfect for watching the back seat baby or honestly anything you have back there, pets or things that you're worried about shifting. While wireless is great, it of course is only wireless from the monitor to the camera. The monitor does need to be plugged in for power. The camera is rechargeable and how long it lasts depends on how much you use it, 9 hours continuous or up to 30 days just checking once in a while. This camera can zoom, has night vision and has a auto on/off feature. The wireless design is nice but needing to keep it charge takes work.
